PSA: Scammers are cloning profiles of people, and joining groups with bogus sales ads. The scammers are using our address of 4700 Deer Creek Road. If someone gives you this address to pick up your horse, pony, trailer, or other thing, it's not legitimate. We do not have horses, ponies, or trailers for sale.
Also, do not send money to someone for a deposit sight unseen. A legitimate seller should hold the item for a reasonable amount of time in order for you to inspect and get a PPE.

The Equestrian Center is getting new arena equipment!

Time to replace the old wood jump standards! 8 sets of white burlingham jump standards will be arriving next week. (We ordered them last month from StateLineTack.com and freight is taking forever!🤷‍♀️) Nonetheless, we are excited about the new standards and will have them out and ready in the 150x250 clay arena soon.

This person, Lisa is not associated in any way with Deer Creek Farms or Deer Creek Equestrian Center. The horse has never been boarded or kept at the facility, and we do not know this person. I am sorry Kathryn was scammed, but I suggest she contact the authorities about Lisa. Deer Creek Farms and Deer Creek Equestrian Center will be reporting the fraud. The address is not her address, nor is it the address where the horse is.

Deer Creek Farms is a 477-acre farm located on Deer Creek Road in North Bell County, Troy Texas. The land has been in the family for two generations. Deer Creek Farms currently offers land leases for grazing, cattle, and crops as well as housing Deer Creek Equestrian Center, and The Trails at Deer Creek Farms.
Deer Creek Equestrian Center, a series of Central Texas Equestrian Centers, LLC offers personalized care for up to 16 horses in a relaxed, laid back atmosphere and is the perfect location in the Heart of Central Texas between Dallas, Austin and Houston.
Annise holds a Bachelor of Animal Science, Horse Management and Reproduction from Tarleton State University.

Our Story

About Deer Creek Farms

Deer Creek Farms is owned and operated by Fred and Annise Finch of Troy, Texas. It is located on our 477 acre Farm in Bell County, with the homestead comprising 2 acres. Deer Creek Farms was started in November of 1998 when Fred and Annise acquired the foundation for their breeding program, DCC Sioux Warrior.

About the Owners

Annise Finch has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Horse Management and Production from Tarleton State University. She has knowledge in many areas of the Equine Industry including reproduction, stallion and mare management, conformation, nutrition, unsoundness, training, stable management, and farrier science. Fred Finch has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Tarleton State University, and is a Mechanical Design Engineer, running his own business, “Orbit Designs”. He grew up on the family farm, Shiloh Land and Cattle Company. Growing up, Fred helped with the daily farm chores, and as a teenager, Fred helped manage and operate the Farm. We feel that the combination of Annise’s life-long love for horses, her Bachelor of Science Degree in Equine Management and Production, and her husband’s experience with running a farm makes Deer Creek Farms stand out in the world of Boarding and Care of Horses.
