Troxel Dairy Farm For 67 years, dairy cows were milked on this farm. We greatly respect amazing dairy cows! We stopped milking cows in October 2016.

Most of our cows were Holsteins (the black & white ones with the cool markings). Currently, the animals that live on this farm are some beef cattle, peafowl, two guineas, one pony and a nice group of mostly friendly cats. We still have nearly 200 acres of row crops here, and we will always love and support the amazing dairy farm families throughout the world. This farm is owned by Dr. Tom and LuAn

n Troxel. Dr. Tom is a retired veterinarian. Sometimes we also talk about veterinary issues and you can even see some surgical pictures if you look at our different albums. We love your questions, so ask away. We will give you the most honest answers we can, and if we don't know the answer, we'll tell you that too!

Shoutout to Jason Mohlke , JM Steel & Fabrication. He took Dr. Tom's (very) old DC Case and installed steps, a grab bar, re-welded fenders and a different seat. We haven't seen a smile this big in awhile!

Rudy was raised on a dairy farm and holds a degree in Ag Education from Purdue University. He currently teaches agriculture to high school students in Indiana. Rudy spent 3 years in Mexico working as a missionary in an agricultural community where he learned to speak Spanish the hard way. Upon returning to the USA, he became licensed in high school Spanish instruction, managed his family’s dairy for 6 years and spent 5 years visiting dairies in the dairy genetics industry. With years of experience teaching Spanish and being directly involved with agriculture, he brings a one-of-a-kind blend of industry knowledge and language expertise to our (virtual) classrooms.

Whether you’re starting with the basics or ready to level up your skills, Rudy makes learning practical, approachable, and even fun.
