We love soaking up a little sunshine with your furry friends — but safety comes first in the summer heat! 🌞🐶🐱

Whether we're on a short stroll or relaxing in the yard, we always:

✅ Stick to shaded spots
✅ Keep walks short & sweet
✅ Provide fresh, cool water
✅ Watch for signs of overheating (panting, drooling, sluggishness)

A little sun can do wonders — but too much can be dangerous! That’s why we take breaks just long enough for some tail wags and vitamin D, then head back in to cool off. ❄️🐾

Lend A Paw LLC was started by Lauren Swartley in 2018 with the purpose of giving potential adopters a helping hand. After adopting multiple pets with anxiety and figuring out that finding care for them was becoming increasingly difficult, she decided to use her knowledge of rescue to help others in need. Specializing in pets with anxiety and fear-based issues, Lend A Paw provides in-home care to minimize stress on your pets. All pets are welcome, and we do not discriminate against any breeds.
