❄️ Cold Weather Shipping Reminder ❄️

As winter temps drop, we want to share a quick heads-up for anyone ordering or reordering Blanket Safe products:

• Please check your local temperatures when ordering. We do not add heat packs or special insulation to shipments.
• All Blanket Safe products are freeze/thaw safe and freezing does not affect performance (though we also dont want your bottles to arrive split).
• In very cold conditions, bottles may unfortunately arrive partially frozen. Just let them thaw and give them a good shake before use.

🧼 Fleece & Wool Wash note:
This is the only product where you may notice a visual change in cold weather (soap particles becoming visible or clumping). This does not affect performance. Simply shake well before pouring.

*This is a normal cold-season occurrence and due to it being questioned every winter since 2018, a few years ago it earned itself a little note on our website under the product information.

We love this formula and stand by it... even with its winter snow-globe-style quirks. 💙

✨ Happy New Year! ✨

To our customers, business partners, and suppliers, thank you for sticking with us through a year that was… a lot.

May 2026 bring steady ingredient sources, reliable bottles, fast shipping, and ingredient suppliers who stay young, healthy, and very committed to carrying on the family business. And may none of them surprise us with any spontaneous closures along the way 😅

On a more personal note, may the new year bring fewer oral surgeries (just kidding… one’s already scheduled in two weeks), healthier furry friends, far fewer unexpected rabid animal encounters, and a whole lot more time doing what actually matters: being with our families, loving our animals, and enjoying the good moments when they show up.

This past year had its fair share of chaos behind the scenes, but we’ve been here, working hard, showing up, shipping across the country and borders, doing our best, and we’re so grateful you’re here with us. Even if you don’t always see us active on social media, know that we’re here, doing the work, and always cheering you on.

📢 Important Notice Regarding Wholesale Orders 📢

It’s disheartening to even have to post this, but here we are.

It has come to my attention that our wholesale password has been shared without permission. This is a serious violation of our trust and policies.

Effective immediately, every single wholesale order will be manually checked to ensure it comes from someone on our approved wholesale list. If not, the order will be immediately canceled—no exceptions.

If we continue to see unauthorized access, we will have no choice but to change the password and update our policies accordingly.

To the individual who shared the password: I’m extremely disappointed. We work hard to build relationships with our wholesale partners and to run this business with integrity. That trust matters.

📖True story/Refresher: Our longtime scent/coloring supplier vanished (p**f 💨), leaving us mid-order, mid-season, and mid-chaos. So what did we do? Dug deep into testing mode—🍒, 🍋, 🌸, and a few “absolutely nots” later and FINALLY, we're closer than ever to receiving our products from the new supplier!

💡 TIP: When your go-to suddenly isn't an option anymore, don’t be afraid to explore new paths—even if you need to smell like 10 different versions of lavender first.

🌟If you notice our soaps start looking different (Ultra's gone lighter!) or smelling a little fancier, don't panic—it's not broken. It's just evolving.

Ultra is still the same beloved cold-water, detergent-free formula—just lighter now. We opted for the same ingredient, but now, with no coloring, one less additive that's not necessary (same product, zero coloring). 🌟AND We're exploring new scent options to help it stand out from Lavender (because looking like twins? Cute. Smelling the same? Confusing.)

🧴✨ Big thanks for your patience—also, it turns out fragrance and coloring hunts are pricey. So we may have a little “testing-is-expensive” sale coming up to help us recover from the scent search, scent sample stockpiles, and supplier shuffles.

Every manufacturer offers a slightly different scent, so while it's the same base...the color/scent may very ever so slightly. Consider it a "limited time" release sale.

🎉 PS: We just got word that our new supplier should be shipping our order on June 9th—keep your fingers crossed. 🤞

🇺🇲 As a reminder this Memorial Day weekend, we do not have sales. 🇺🇲

Because some things should never be discounted—especially not the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We believe this day isn’t about shopping for the best deal. It’s about honoring the brave men and women who selflessly chose to serve and protect our country—choosing duty, service, and humility over any other path.

We remember the young soldier who never made it off the beaches of Normandy, whose sweetheart waited for a letter that would never come.
We remember the woman who gave her life in the rugged mountains of Afghanistan, never again able to cradle her children in her arms.
We remember the quiet Marine who died in the streets of Fallujah, whose father still sets a place for him at the dinner table every Thanksgiving.
And we remember the anonymous soldier whose name we may never know—but whose sacrifice runs through the very fabric of our freedom.

To the fearless souls who gave everything, and to the families who carry their legacy with quiet strength—we remember you. We thank you. We hold space for you today and always.

May we all take a moment to reflect, to be grateful, and to remember what Memorial Day truly stands for.

Important Update from Blanket Safe

We’ve been blindsided.

This morning, I received notice that our supplier for scented ingredients and colorants has suddenly shut down — no warning, just a canceled order and a lot of scrambling. Especially since this order was expected to arrive yesterday. * To answer a question I've already been asked, this is not an overseas issue. ALL of our ingredients, packaging, labels, boxes, etc, are 100% made in the USA*

For now, we’ve temporarily closed down ordering on our site to avoid overpromising and underdelivering. But please know — I’m working nonstop behind the scenes, calling and emailing new suppliers to source the same high-quality ingredients you've come to trust and expect.

The good news?
Our Free & Clear formula is still fully available — as it does not rely on the affected ingredients.

While the formula will remain the same, there may be slight variations in color or scent due to differences between facilities. I’m doing my absolute best to keep everything consistent — but I wanted to keep you in the loop.

I deeply apologize for this disruption, especially right in the heart of blanket washing season. *But remember — your local retailers still have stock, so please support them while we work to rebuild.*

Thank you for bearing with me during this wild curveball. I’m committed to getting us back on track and fully restocked ASAP. I greatly appreciate your patience, kindness, and support while we get through this mess!

Tuesday Tip (on a Tuesday ):
Blanket Safe Isn’t Magic (But We’re Flattered You Think So)

We love Blanket Safe. You love Blanket Safe. But let’s clear up a little myth: our soap doesn’t make things dirtier. (Yep, someone actually said that. We’re still recovering.)

Today’s Tip: Make sure your washing machine is up for the task. Overloaded washers can’t properly agitate or rinse, no matter the weight of the blanket, no matter what soap you use. If your machine sounds like it’s begging for mercy—or if the blankets are still grimy when done—it might be time for a professional laundry or a deep clean of your washer.

Just because a blanket fits in the washer doesn’t mean it should. Many high-efficiency machines use less water, which isn’t ideal for heavy, dirty blankets. You need enough water to flush out grime—not let it settle into nooks and crannies. If your washer can’t spin out the water, that leftover dirt that settles isn’t from the soap…it’s from your blanket.

Blanket Safe works with your machine, not instead of it. It is powerful, but it’s not a magician. No sparkle spells here—just smart science and safe ingredients.

Mother’s Day on the water—just the way I like it. A little sunshine, a little fishing, and a visit from the wild hearts of Assateague Island.

No fancy brunch, no big crowds. Just peace, ponies, and the people who matter most.

I am grateful for moments like this and for the wild, beautiful life we get to call our own.
