On Saturday, our group headed to Rose Mount for the local BHSA Classic horse show. Our riders had a wonderful time, improving on all their homework and moving up! Competition was healthy with full classes. We couldnt have been more pleased with our group!

🌟Robin and Chance had a beautiful round in the Novice horse to bring home a 2nd and had a successful move up to the Open 2'6 jumpers.
🌟Amanda and Let It Be had solid rounds in the Open 2'6 jumpers and moved up the the Low 2'9 jumpers earning a 2nd!
🌟 Joelle and Carry On had beautiful and confident rounds in the Open 2'6 jumpers.
🌟Sasha and Raising Sand earned a pair of 3rd in the Open 2'6 Jumpers
🌟Darlene and Ostentatious GSF had a pair of 2nds in the 2'6 Adult Hunters

Join our fun team and have the opportunity to learn from an accomplished former Nations Cup rider at a top Hunter/Jumper show barn!

Part Time: Flexible schedule, 2-4 days a week 7am-5pm or half days 7am-12pm or 12-5pm. Some weekends.

Job duties include: bringing in and turning out, grooming and tacking up, clipping, bandaging, blanketing, administering medication, giving grain/hay, cleaning stalls and other general barn chores, some lifting required. Must be comfortable handling well-mannered retired stallions.

Must have reliable transportation. Must be legal to work in the US.

Friday night we returned to Great Meadows for the 2nd Twilight Jumpers of the year. We had a great crowd and great weather! We'd like to congradulate Sasha and her horse Sir Frost for their 7th place finish in the Child/Adult 1.10M Jumper Classic for their first time.

Busy weekend for our riders with Acorn Hill!

Some of our riders started off the weekend with starter trials at the Carolina Horse park. It was a first time competition for many of the horses that went.

🌟Allison and Lua Cheia won their Beginner Novice divison ending on their dressage score of 28.8
🌟Olivia Smith and Midnight Threat Level was 6th in their Green as Grass divison
🌟Joanna and Mochi earned an 8th in their Green as Grass division on their first show
🌟Joanna and A Fair Notion earned a 5th in their Starter division

The rest of our group stayed local and travelled to Culpeper for the VHSA The League show with great progress and results!

🌟 Eliza and Countess Twice was Champion in their Non-Pro 2'3 Hunter division
🌟Joelle and Carry On earned a 5th in their 2'6 Jumper Class
🌟Carly and Always Aspiring a 4th and 7th OF in the Adult Hunters
🌟Carly and Oh So Special 6th, 7th, 8th OF in the Adult Hunters
🌟Lilly and Hilaal Aldhahira won a pair of 2nds in the 2'6 Jumpers
🌟Amanda and Let it Be won a 2nd and 3rd in the 2'6 Jumpers

This past weekend was also Dressage at Lexington. One of our clients attended with her young thoroughbred and they had excellent results! Congratulations to Shaleena and Holy Bull for their top honors!!

This has been a year of new things!

This past weekend we travelled to Ohio for the Chagrin Hunter Jumper Classic! We learned that it’s home of the first American Grand Prix! It was a great experience with plans to return.

We took 5 horses to compete in both hunters and jumpers. It was a weekend of ups and downs but each rider learned from their mistakes and improved.

🌟Olivia and Celestial Star moved up to the 2’6 Adult hunters earning a 3rd over fences, 4th under saddle, and a 7th in the Adult Classic! They also competed in their first 2’6 Hunter derby!
👑Allison and Cooley Skyline were 3rd in their 1.00m warm up class and 2nd in the 1.10m Open Speed Stakes!
🐓Allison and Gude Affair were Champions in the 1.20m Jr/Am Jumpers with a 1st place win in the Classic!
☃️ Sasha and Sir Frost won their 1.0m Take2 TB class along with a 1st in their 1.10m Amateur Jumpers and 4th in the 1.15m NAL/WIHS Classic!
🦇 Allison and Threat Level Midnight brought home a pair of 2nds in their .75-.80m beginner Jumpers classes

We had excellent weather for the first week of Culpeper HITS! Our riders saw much improvement and growth with each of their horses.

🌟Carly and Oh So Special GSF competed in the Adult hunters with some lovely rounds bringing home a 2nd and 3rd
🌟Carly and Oh So Sassy GSF competed in the 1.0M Amateur Jumpers with a pair of 5ths and a 6th in the 1.05M Jr/Am Jumper Classic
🌟Olivia and Threat Level Midnight brought home a 6th in the .65M Jr/Am Itty Bitty Jumpers and a 9th in the .65M Jr/Am Itty Bitty Jumper Classic
🌟Sasha and Sir Frost competed in the 1.10 Amateur Jumper with an 8th in both their regular round and the 1.15M The League/WIHS/NAL Jr/Am 1.15m Jpr Classic.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July!!! How did you spend yours?

Per our usual hot spot, we were at a horse show, but one of our boarders Ian decided to shake things up and party under the fans!!

This past weekend, our riders came out and shone like stars!

Friday night our Jumpers took the spotlight by competing in a very sloppy Twilight jumpers and bringing home a 6th amid many professional riders in the 5K 1.20 Mini Prix! Congratulations to Allison and Gude Affair on their double clear round!

Saturday our hunters took the stage at the VHSA The League show held by HITS Culpeper. We had some first timers and long timers, but all had a great day of showing! Congrats to all our riders!

🌟Autumn & Phantom both had their first hunter show ever! The competed in a tough Short stirrup division bringing home a ribbon in every class!!
🌟 Carly and Oh So Special GSF put in some lovely rounds in a very large Working Hunters round.
🌟Matt and Always Aspring put in some great rounds in a hard 2'6 Non-pro hunter division.
🌟Allison and Great Red Dragon did their first hunter show together taking home 5ths in their Thoroughbred Hunter classes
🌟Robin took Chance to his first jumper show for his owner, being brave and confident and brining home 4th and 7th in the baby 2'3 jumpers
🌟Sasha and Lyric put in confident rounds earning a 5th in their 2'3-2'6 Jumper class
