All we truly have is now,and I’m grateful I get to spend so much of mine doing work I love. 🐾❤️

Working with these dogs, earning their trust, and celebrating their little victories gives my days purpose. Every day I get to do this is a gift.

To everyone who has trusted me with their dog, shared a post, referred a friend, encouraged me, or believed in The Dabba Company, thank you. You’ve helped turn a dream into the life I get to live, and I don’t take that lightly.

I’m proud of how far we’ve come, grateful for this moment, and ready to welcome what’s next. More dogs to help, more connections to make, and more heart to put into it all.

Low clearance. Long ears. Very important business. 🐶😂

Sweet Maisey is taking on our obstacle course at her own pace! We’re supporting her IVDD recovery and senior fitness with carefully selected exercises focused on strength, balance, coordination, and confident movement. 💪🐾

Those ears may be along for the ride, but Maisey is doing the work! ❤️

Have a senior pup who could use some help staying active, or a dog navigating injury recovery? Send us a DM to learn how The Dabba Company can support their next steps!

Rosie is a hard working service dog who takes life very seriously. The disdain she feels about the underwater treadmill is palpable and she tolerates her land exercises despite them clearly being below her capabilities. So, when she melts and starts snoring during her massage, you know we’re doing something right. Regular laser, massage and fitness training keeps Rosie feeling good and able to perform at her best.

It’s been quite a week, friends. If you’re in need of a Friday pick me up, you’re in luck. I give you ❤️Maisey❤️. Maisey is a senior Basset Hound who comes to Dabba to maintain her strength and mobility. She is strong willed, but also easily swayed by treats. With that irresistible face, all of the treat pouches are empty when she leaves.

Have a great weekend and get some extra pet snuggle time in!

Meet Teddy! He is one of our new patients and has LOADS of energy. We’re working with Teddy as he recovers from TPLO surgery. Those ankle weights aren’t just a fashion statement, they help strengthen his hind legs to aid in recovery and decrease the chance of injury to his other knee. They don’t seem to slow Teddy down very much, but they’re still doing the job!

Long time client, Charlotte, really worked those puppy dog eyes for the camera. Don’t be fooled. She had plenty of treats and a mat full of spray cheese to make her treadmill session worthwhile!

We see a lot of senior dogs like Charlotte who are able to maintain or even increase their level of mobility because of the work they do at Dabba. Contact us to learn more about how we can help your senior dog!

Last week, Dabba participated in NC State’s Virtual VetCAMP as a presenter. Willie spoke to the high-school age students about his background, why he started Dabba, and the experience he has had working with a wide variety of patients. We also did a lesson demonstration with, Liv, one of our regular patients. She was a hit! Willie walked students through the purpose and benefits of each land exercise as well as a hydrotherapy session.
It was an honor to share what we do with a new generation of potential veterinary professionals! Thank you, NC State VetCAMP, for including Dabba in your program!
