A great basic command for your pup or dog to know is Place! For anything from people coming to the house with a door opening, to wanting to eat in peace, or getting them in the car, the Place command is the way to go!

Hi everyone! This is Lobo, the young boy I mentioned before that was coming up here from a TX rescue to be adopted! He’s here! A small male at only 50 lbs, guessing 10 months old, a clean bill of health, neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped, housebroken and a very sweet boy!

He’s getting along with all of my huskies and dogs, even the cat! He is one of those unicorn huskies, where he’s actually chill, doesn’t try to escape, nor has tried to jump the fence! 😂 He had to have belonged to someone 😡 He’s a great weight, and even knows how to use bells at the door. He is being fostered by our owner here at Pack Pride Dog Training & Services, LLC, so he’ll also come trained! Please reach out if you’d like to meet him! We are in Metro Detroit, Oakland County.

I think we’re all aware locally of the temps we have this week, just a reminder to keep our furkids safe! Please keep outside time minimal, keep them in the shade, and absolutely off of asphalt!!! The cement as well is going to get too hot!!! Their paw pads will start to burn! Please also leave them at home, not in the car while you’re running errands 😉

With spring upon us, we want to address, and answer, the question regarding dog parks, which we get asked on a regular basis. They are not great for most dogs, albeit a thoroughly trained and socialized one should be okay, still not optimal.
