Well we got the sad news that Haagens is discontinuing our cheese in all stores except Olympia. PCC has also stopped carrying our flavored chubs.

Soooooo….

Come out to the Farmstand this weekend and PLEASE buy some cheese so we can keep this dairy going! We will be making deals, deals, deals on multiple quantities!

👆My favorite thing ever overhead in the wrestling room, where Matthew is one of the phenomenal coaches of our local youth wrestling program, The Olympia Silverbacks.

🐐 If you want to help your kid build discipline and confidence, improve strength and coordination, and learn important life skills like teamwork, respect, and handling both wins and losses, sign them up! The season is open to all kids, ages 5-14. (Also, they’re really, really tired after practice…because we all know my daily parenting goal is to have exhausted children. 😂🤣). August 20–26 | 10 AM & 5 PM daily

This is it — your last chance to goat yoga before summer slips away! Seven days only, twice a day, at Lost Peacock Creamery.

Start your morning (or wrap up your day) with a lighthearted, laugh-out-loud yoga flow surrounded by goats who are absolutely not shy about joining in. No mats needed — we’ll hand you a towel and the goats will handle the entertainment.

Life has a way of writing its own punchlines.

Matthew and I just wrapped two back-to-back work trips—64 miles in Olympic National Park. On the last morning, he woke up and thought something was in his eye. I checked and found nothing, but by mid-morning his eye was so bad the only option was to patch it and let it rest.

So he rode out 20 miles basically blind.

After a night’s sleep at home, he’s better (not 100%). Which brings us to today: Matthew leading goat yoga…in an eye patch…

Two horses on injury reserve, one mule not quite ready to work on our string, and 22 miles to pack 444 pounds for the Gray Wolf trail crew after the Bear Gulch fire rerouted their plans.

We said yes—knowing one of us would be walking.

4:30 am start. Midnight arrival back home.

But we did it! Steady climbs, brutal pinch points, and Biscuit Butt proving yet again she’s worth her weight in gold as the whip in our pack string.

We’re sore and tired, but Matthew still managed to wake up early and hang the cheese. Come get some today at the Farmstand!
