Pets & Pals

Pets&Pals is a nonprofit adoption center dedicated to the welfare and humane treatment of animals This is not your typical shelter.

We sit on a few acres of landscaped, manicured land that houses state of the art dog kennels that are complete with heated floors. Dogs can choose to be on the inside or outside sections of their large, open kennels. There are four play yards that our guests enjoy on a daily basis (two of which even have pools!), and the dogs are treated with attention, chew toys, blankets, and treats. Their runs

are always kept as clean as possible. Our feline residents enjoy a "kitten room" for the rambunctious babies, and large indoor/outdoor cat houses that have heating and air for our "older" kitties. We are open by appointment if you see something you like.

Meet Oso!🩵

Oso is an adorable 8 month-old husky mix. He’s great with children of all ages, making him a perfect fit for a family. Oso already knows a few basic commands like sit, shake, and lay down. He does great with the other dogs in his play yard and loves the pool. If you’re looking for a friendly, playful puppy who will grow into a loyal companion, Oso is the pup for you! The prior owner’s did a DNA test and there are quite a few breeds in his mix, the most predominant one is Siberian Husky, but he has 5 different groups of breeds, so is a well-rounded guy! Bella is a stunning white Husky/Shepherd mix with captivating, duo colored eyes, born on June 5th, 2022. Currently a healthy 61 pounds, Bella is ready to bring her sweet and gentle nature to a loving forever home. Originally in a family household for the first three years of her life, circumstances beyond their control led to her needing a new home. After a brief five months with another owner who sadly became ill, Bella has found herself in our care again. This resilient girl has charmed our shelter staff with her affectionate demeanor and excellent manners. Already housetrained and wonderfully responsive, Bella listens attentively and is known to be fantastic with children of all ages. She also enjoys the company of other dogs her size. Meet Nemo! 🐟

This handsome boy is a 4-5 month old black retriever mix with a heart full of love. He truly “found” his way to us, wandering onto someone’s property and making it clear he was ready for a home. The kind person who brought him to the shelter spent only a day with him but thought he was a very nice boy. Despite the sad start to his story, he has remained happy-go-lucky and eager to please, winning over the staff here with his affectionate demeanor. Meet Thunder!🤍

Are you ready to own your own wolf?! This guy sure looks like one - he currently weighs 80 lbs and is all legs! He is a Husky mix, but based on his appearance, we think dad was a Shepherd. This young man was actually born at our shelter on 3/18/2022 and adopted shortly after he was weaned off mama. His owner let us know that he no longer had the time to care for him, so he’s sadly back with us. This guy has been used to the home life and does not belong at a shelter, so we hope he can find his new home quickly. Some of his best features: He’s housetrained(!!), he’s a fantastic house dog (no accidents or anxiety reported), he’s neutered, vaccinated, and ready to go home with you today! His previous owners also told us that he lived with another dog and did fine, and he was great with kids; he just doesn’t know his own size and can knock a youngen over on accident. We have amazing news - Raven has been adopted!!🥳💗

Raven spent 604 days here at the shelter waiting for her forever home. She came in with a litter of shepherd puppies, but she was the only one who looked a little different. This amazing family had been watching her since she was first brought in, but was waiting until the time was right. We will miss Raven very much but are so excited for her to start her new life! YAY FOR RAVEN!!💜🎉
