Ok This is candy, I have verified everyone that has called, texted or messaged. I had a handful of them that got massages but where not on the calendar. I believe everyone so far is good to go. I am truly thankful for all of you helping me. This is been a huge headache but I will be watching this closer now.

Just heard back from the Program customer service people and there was a program problem. According to the lady i spoke with its to be fixed but that doesnt fix the current problems of appointments and boarding in limbo. I want to thank each and everyone of you for letting me know dates so that I can go back through and make sure we have you on the calendar. So far I have found a couple. But the nice thing is most everyone got a text saying the dates it just didnt go on the calendar. i love technology when it works. I spent alot of my Sunday making sure to get this corrected and I Have a few appointments to varify yet I am working as fast and hard as I can.

But please remember to call the shop for appointments and Boarding please dont leave messages on facebook untill I can totally fix this problem.

Thankyou to everyone so far who has texted me and messaged me. this is much help and faster then trying to remember everyone.

So please be patient with me. Everyone has appointments its just they arent showing on the calendar system. This is for boarding too You have a kennel its just not showing. But when I look your names up and and go back through messages its there. I just cant remember everyones names . So thank you for all the help.

But please double check if you havent already just to verify the boarding and appointments.

We had a computer Program malfunction If you have an appointment or boarding reservation please contact Candy so that we can make sure that your spots are on the calendars. Candy is trying her best to get things fixed and we thought we had it but technology surprised us again. All recent appointments seem to be on the calendar its ones that where made more then 6 weeks ago. So please feel free to reach out to me this week weather is just a text, facebook response or call and I will make sure we are all correct on our system. Thank you !!! hope everyone is enjoying the warmer temps.

Also PLEASE DONT use the message system to ask for Boarding and Grooming appointments as this is not working as well. So by the time I see it your request as passed.

Hope everyone stayed warm and safe after Wednesdays crazy blizzard. Please use your best judgement today as you venture out I know my roads out in the country were horrible. But thankfully that was just one day and not the whole winter. Need to stay thank you to everyone who had to be out in that weather. Police, fire , rescue, farmers, lineman a huge Thank You to all of them for the countless hours they put in. And a huge thank you to the all the snow plow drivers trying to keep the roads open. Also to anyone who was out removing the snow yesterday and early this morning. THANK YOU!!!!! Now lets hope spring is right around the corner not sure any of us can handle another Blizzard. I know Candy cant.

Bring on spring!!! Do to the amount of snow days we have had Candy is trying her best to get everyone back on schedule but please please be patient with us. Its a crazy schedule so if you need to switch days or candy needs to switch an appointment please be kind and patient as it may be sometime before we can get you back in. But I promise Im doing by best to get ya in.

Very Long Important post please read.. Please have Patient with us and please be kind and not rude.

We have had a few complaints about being closed to much and not being able to fit dogs in when needed.

Well let start off saying that the staff of Glitter Grooming take our jobs very seriously and we also value our customers. We believe in the safety of not only our staff but as well as all of you. So if we think that the roads aren't safe to travel for our staff who all live outside of City limits we will be closed. So we are doing our best to reschedule everyone from snow days. I ( Candy ) think I tried my best to give you all enough heads up of what the plan was. I do try. So sorry for the so early calls and text.

Now getting back to another matter at hand. As you all know and if you are a new client let me start by saying Welcome.
Alicia Nebuda is the owner and Groomer of this Glitter Grooming. Alicia is also a very busy mom of 5 young kids and one Zadden who is very special needs. There are many cases of special needs but Zadden requires full time care and there are times when there is not a notice of Zadden getting sick that Alicia needs to be away from the shop to take him to the hospital or many many Drs appointments. As we all know there is alot of illness going around and Zadden cant fight off illness as easy as most people can.

I, Candy have had to call some of you and do some changing of appointments and I realize that I cant get you back in as soon as i normally could But I am asking you all to be patient with me (US) as we do our best . We currently are working double time and doing 16-23 dogs a day to make up for snow days and sick days of staff , and kids. Not only are you as the client stressed and running out of patience but the staff is also.

With Summer coming we do have some very important Drs appointments and a possible surgery coming up for Zadden that will take Alicia out of the shop for a week as long as everything goes well. We will be doing our best to get everyone in around this surgery but sense we arent sure of a date yet waiting on DRs. So Candy will most likely be calling you and rescheduling grooming appointments. So please be kind with us all and its a very stressful time. I do my best to notify as soon as I know whats going on. I realize that you want you pet to look great and so do we but Alicia can only do so many at one time.

Also we need to remember that it takes time to get a dog washed and blown dry and cut so please be patient with us. There is no need to be rude about your pet not being done. If you need them done at certain time let us know . We try to work with everyone.

Here are a few dates that we will not be grooming and the shop will be closed. There will be more but this is what I know now. These dates typically will only affect Grooming but the Drop off times for Boarding could vary as well but we call you if they do.

If we are closed it usually wont affect Broading times. If it does I will let you know.

Jan 1 we have made a few changes to our Boarding and Grooming Policies.
First of all please remember that we are Business and we have the right to refuse service if we see that there is a need for such.

With that being said let us move forward with a few reminders.

Glitter grooming hours are Mon- Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. There is no grooming Saturday or Sundays.

The staff of Glitter Grooming is a family staffed business we do our best to keep up with the demands and needs of our customers .
There are set Grooming Hours we do our best to get everyone in. With this being said there are times doing the schedule that things come up and we need to cancel or reschedule appointments. We do have a system that sends reminders out 3 days through text as a reminder to you. Candy does her best to find a day to fit you back in. When making your grooming appointment please be upfront with the staff making your appointment if you need your pet done by a certain time. It takes time to get animals washed, dried and cut. We try our best to have pets done by 11 at the earliest. Please remember most mornings it is busy at drop off so please please make arrangements so we can mark the profiles before dropping off as communication sometimes gets messed up.

Boarding- Changes

We have limited spaces available. When making your boarding if you are needing a groom or nail trim done while animals are here that needs to be made at time of reservation . If you are needing a bath or groom this will be done on the morning of Pickup and you will be notifed as soon as they are done.

Reminder when dropping off boarding animals everyone needs to be here by 4 PM on drop off days. When picking up boarding if its later then 10 am you will be charged for an extra day . There is no weekend drop offs or pickups this will be enforced. We understand that things happen and come up and if its an emergency will do our best to deal with that at that time.

Also reminder that if we are closed On Certain holidays and or illness of staff, or if we happen to ever get nasty weather. . i am doing my best to make sure that you know this . page will be used for updated and reminders. If you have questions please call and visit will us. If we need to be closed for what ever reason the staff will be calling as early as they can to reschedule if needed.

Hours on days of no grooming could differ from normal hours.

Wishing everyone a safe , healthy and Happy New Year!! Reminder there is no Grooming Tuesday and Wednesday this week. We will be back to normal hours and schedules on Thursday Jan 2nd. Also with incoming weather please remember that if for some reason we need to reschedule Candy will do her best to start calling everyone by 7-7:30 am. If you need to check before you head out if the roads are bad please call the shop and talk to us.
