Big moment in the greenhouse! We caught one of our red-footed tortoises laying a clutch of eggs, proof that good nutrition and proper calcium go a long way. Our Zoo Med Turtle Bone™ is a natural source of calcium that helps support strong shells, healthy egg production, prevents overgrown beaks, and curbs unwanted chewing behavior. Plus, tortoises love it!

The other red-footed tortoises are always a bit too interested in the large white calcium snacks dropping into the nest, so they also provide an excellent diversion from the laying female!

Our Store of the Month for May is ! Buffalo Pet Supply is carrying on a 70-year legacy at 1345 Military Rd — the former home of Niagara Aquarium!

When Niagara closed in 2020, longtime employee Dave Holinbaugh and his sister Stephanie stepped up to keep the passion alive. Together, they opened BPS with a mission: to offer quality pets, the right supplies, and expert advice so animals can thrive, not just survive.

They’ve brought back outdoor pond fish & supplies, and revamped the reptile section, where you will find a huge variety of supplies, captive-bred reptiles, and bioactive enclosures.

They treat every customer like family and are active supporters of the local reptile community, so if you're in the area, be sure to stop by!

Replicate the suns naturally changing heat intensity with adjustable ramping-up and ramping-down of your heat device!

There are separate temperature settings for day and night, and information is fed to the thermostat via a replaceable, high accuracy, waterproof probe.
