Rescue Rangers Rescue Rangers is a 501(C)(3) group that provide spays, neuters and rabies shots for metro dogs.

Dog Rescue Group: Rescue Rangers is a 501(C)(3) volunteer group who provide spays, neuters and rabies shots for as many dogs from Casper Metro Animal shelter as possible. We also provide funds for medical care for many dogs at Metro Animal Shelter. 100% of all proceeds are utilized to fund the spays, neuters, Rabies vaccinations and medical care. We raise funds through craft fair sales and private donations from supporters.

Yesterday, (Sat., 8/30/2025), during the Farmers Market at the Agriculture Building by the fairgrounds, Rescue Rangers received a very special surprise! One of the people attending the market was walking toward Rescue Rangers' booth. You could tell by her stride and the expression on her face. . .she was on a mission. When she reached our table, she said, "I adopted a dog from Metro 2 days ago." We thanked her, and then asked, "which dog did you adopt?" She said Briggs, and when I heard that, I literally threw my hands in the air and shouted: "Yes!!! We neutered Briggs! Thank you for adopting him!" She then said, "Yes, I know that, and that is why I came to let you know I had adopted him!" It was wonderful to hear that and to meet her. Her eyes were filled with love and happiness as she told us what a good boy he is. Briggs - your mama and the rest of your family love you very much already, and you are very lucky to have such a wonderful home. Enjoy your family and your new life, sweet boy!"

THANK YOU, EVERYONE who made it to the Farmers Market last Saturday (July 26th). We appreciate your support! Yes, we will be there again this Saturday, August 2nd. Just finished an adorable hot pad set for everyone who enjoys cooking. It has puppies on it and they are beyond cute!! If you are at this Saturday's Farmers Market at the Ag Building, we are on the back side of the building and will be looking forward to showing you the puppy hot pad set.

Thank you again, everyone who supports Rescue Rangers in its mission to spay or neuter, plus provide a rabies shot for one Metro Animal Shelter dog per week. We could not do this without everyone's support.

Are you looking for a new family member? Well, I am looking for a family who will love me as much as I will love them. My name is Dale. I had quite a day today, Tuesday, July 29, 2025. Yep - you guessed it - I went to the vet today and was neutered and given a rabies vaccination. (I blinked just as the camera took my picture!) I am back at Metro Animal Shelter and I am now accepting applications for my adoption. I am estimated to be approximately 8 months old. I am a very happy furkid, and I love "talking" to everyone who comes by my cage. I must admit, I am quite "chatty" and will definitely strike up a conversation with everyone I meet. Come to Metro and let's meet one another. . .we may 'dopt one another and become a family. I am waiting to meet you. . .

Hope you all are having a great Wednesday. My name is Gracie Bay, and I am writing to let you know I was spayed and given a rabies vaccination yesterday, Tuesday, July 22, 2025. I am estimated to be approximately 3 years old, and I am likely a border collie mix. I am now actively searching for my furever family, and would love to meet you. The folks at the vet clinic all "fell in love" with me when we met one another. I would love to meet you, go for a walk and we might just fall in love and 'dopt one another. Come to Metro Animal Shelter and let's take that walk together. Hope to meet you soon. I am waiting. . .

Happy Saturday, everyone! Hope you all are having a great weekend. Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 26, 2025 - the opening day of the summer Farmers Market located at the Ag Building right before the entrance to the fairgrounds. Rescue Rangers will be there with lots of merch for your shopping pleasure. Our booth is located on the back side of the Ag Building. We have several items of new merch, plus everyone's favorites, and we also have lots of new fabric patterns. Come on out and take a look! It is never too early to shop for Christmas! As always, all proceeds to spay or neuter, plus provide a rabies vaccination, for one Metro dog per week. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

Hey, everyone - hope you all are having a great July! My name is Chance, and I am here to let you all know, I went to the vet Tuesday, July 15th to be neutered and given a rabies vaccination. I am back at Casper Metro Animal Shelter and I am scheduling interviews for my adoption. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am estimated to be approximately 1 year old. As you can see in my pictures, I am a very handsome little guy (even if I say so myself) and I have great coloring in my fur. I weighed in at 40 # at the vet office. Like all the furkids in the shelter, I become quite excited when people are looking at me. I am doing my best to let you know I would love to go outside with you so we can spend time together getting to know one another. Who knows, we might even 'dopt one another! I am waiting to meet you!

Hi Everyone - hope you are enjoying the beautiful summer weather. My name is Tux. Rescue Rangers took me to be neutered and given a rabies vaccination on Tuesday, July 9th. I am now back at Casper Metro Animal Shelter. I am searching for my furever family and home. I weigh approximately 40 #. My age is estimated to be approximately 3 years old. Hi everybody,

My name is Rocket. I was very excited when I went outside and saw the transport waiting to take me to the vet to be neutered and given a rabies vaccination. I was even more excited when I discovered I weighed 33 lb. I am estimated to be approximately one year and one month old. I am back at Metro now so come up and introduce yourself. We can go out for a walk and get to know one another. We might just become a family. I am waiting.
