🐾 Meet Benny – Your Goofy, Lovable Sidekick! 🐾

Benny is a 4–8 year old shepherd mix with a heart full of love and just the right amount of s***k. Weighing in at 45 pounds, he’s the perfect size for lap cuddles—and yes, he will try to sit in your lap!

This happy little guy is always smiling and loves to share hugs. He’s equal parts silly and sweet, and he lives to make his people laugh. Benny has lots of energy and even more affection to give!

He enjoys meeting new friends, though he can be selective with other dogs—so a meet-and-greet is required. We’re not sure how he feels about cats just yet.

If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who’s always up for snuggles and smiles, Benny is your boy!

Nova is ready to find her forever home — and she’s already proving she’s a star student! Just look at her here with Hannah, picking up on new commands in under 10 minutes. We’re pretty sure we’ve got a future dog trainer and one incredibly quick learner on our hands!

Nova is truly one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. She’s great in the car, a total angel at the vet, and would thrive in a home with kids and/or other playful pups. (Sorry, no cats for this girl — she’s just not a fan.)

Her only quirk? She’s a little too enthusiastic on leash! Nova must be walked on a harness, as she can pull hard enough on a collar to hurt herself. She just needs someone willing to continue working with her on her leash manners — she promises to make it worth your while!

Nova is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and oh-so-ready to meet you. If you’re looking for a sweet, fun, and loyal companion, Nova could be your perfect match!

☀️🐾 Keep Your Pets Safe in the Heat! 🐾☀️

With these extreme temperatures, our furry friends need extra care. Please remember:
✅ Leave pets at home — never in vehicles.
✅ Limit outdoor time to early mornings or late evenings when it’s cooler.
✅ Avoid hot pavement — it can burn their paws!

Let’s all do our part to keep our pets safe and comfortable this summer. ❤️

An Extreme Heat Warning will take effect for the Kansas City metro area starting Noon Saturday and lasting until 7 PM Wednesday. The heat index will range from 105° to 110°  everyday, with little to no relief overnight. Please make sure you are staying hydrated. Do what you can to stay cool. 🎉🐾 We’ve got the happiest “Pupdate” to share! 🐾🎉

Who remembers Frank the Tank? This tough guy came to us on January 1st, all banged up — with bite wounds, a broken toe, and even his gums torn from his jaw.

Fast forward 7 months, and just look at him now! Frank is thriving, living his best life with the most amazing parents a pup could ever wish for.

He may not think he’s spoiled… but between pup cups, turkey sausage treats, and snuggling in bed every night, we know the truth — he’s living the dream! 🐶❤️

And today was extra special — Frank’s wonderful parents invited all of us out to their home to visit him and see just how happy and loved he is now. 💕 A huge thank-you to them for welcoming us to their home and letting us love on our special boy again!

Way to go, Frank — you truly deserve every ounce of happiness! 🐾✨
