date with pictures, videos and messages throughout fur baby stays. We send home complimentary goody bags of toys and treats after the first stay, we have 10 acres of hiking trails used for fur-babies who enjoy that and a fenced in back yard, we have no neighbors so pets can play and bark when playing and be themselves, kennel only for feeding, bedtime and if we have to step away.

Our story.

So, here’s why I want to do what I do and why I do it. I am a military wife (but my husband helps and supports me in my love of animals and my passion for my business. Oh and not to mention my love for the Giant Great Danes that we have). I started this in-home boarding business because of my background in working with giant breeds, my rescue work and behavior background. But, also because when we were stationed in California I left my first Great Dane in the care of someone (another military spouse claiming to watch pets as her “job” and saying she loved all pets). Only to walk in from coming back early and find her literally kicking my Zina (my black Dane if anyone is curious). I never dreamed something terrible like that would actually happen to me or one of my babies.

When we received orders to Virginia. We had no choice but to purchase a home due to having Great Danes as part of our family. Re-homing is never an option in this military house hold because I will stay where ever we are and my husband can go on before I let my fur-babies go somewhere else, and not to mention no one would ever rent to us with my big doggies.

So, I also knew once we got here and found the home that we found despite it being forever away from base that I could put my background in working with animals to use and also put other peoples minds at ease with in-home boarding and opening my home to other fur-babies while their parents are away and never let happen what happened to me or Zina happen to you or your fur-babies.

I decided to offer care for all surrounding areas of Spotsylvania where we are located not just near-by. I wanted to offer what we offer to everyone I could because I love what I do and I love getting to spend time with animals! Boarding costs $24 per day, per pet because I also strive to be affordable. We as a family know first hand with more then 3 pets of our own and giant pets at that- finding affordable and trustworthy care together is hard to do without breaking the bank or ending up in tears all together. And, we offer pick up and drop off for all surrounding areas for a flat rate fee as well (max two pets). We also makes it convenient! How about that? Areas including: Stafford, Quantico, King George, Woodbridge, Fredericksburg, Thornburg, Louisa and Lake Anna. Many other services are offered and can be found on our business page also.
