Her Royal Highness Bonnie the Beauty is exhausted. After a long day of regal duties—supervising her fellow felines, ensuring her meals are served first (as is only proper), and keeping her human staff in line—she was met with a shocking betrayal. One of her most loyal subjects (a.k.a. foster mom) had the audacity to try and remove her chosen throne… in the name of “doing laundry.” The nerve.

Ever the gracious monarch, Bonnie relocated. And it paid off—she was rewarded with a fresh, warm pile of laundry straight from the dryer. She has decided, for now, to forgive the earlier insolence. Her servant may remain in her post.

Laga came to us this spring when her person asked if we could care for her “just for a few days.” Sadly, they never came back—and this gentle girl was heartbreakingly abandoned. We’re grateful she ended up in our care instead of being left to fend for herself on the streets.

It quickly became clear that Laga wasn’t feeling well, so we rushed her to the vet. She had severe dental disease causing terrible pain and foul breath. A biopsy revealed a suspicious mass in her mouth—but thankfully, it came back non-cancerous. With that relief, she underwent major dental surgery.

Laga was already missing 13 teeth, and the vets had to extract 13 more, leaving her with just four teeth remaining. They also discovered that her jaw is slightly misaligned—likely something she’s quietly endured for years.

Despite everything she’s been through—abandonment, pain, and uncertainty—Laga remains sweet, gentle, and resilient. She’s healing beautifully and, once fully recovered, will be ready to find the loving forever home she so deserves.

We didn’t plan for the cost of her extensive medical care, but we couldn’t say no to helping her. If you’re able, please consider making a donation toward Laga’s vet bills. Every little bit helps us give cats like her the second chance they deserve.

Dr. Spork was a gentle community cat just trying to survive on a block where danger lurked at every turn. Some neighbors threatened to poison the local cats, and it’s likely this sweet boy was kicked—just for existing. The trauma left him with a serious and painful condition called a diaphragmatic hernia, where a tear in the diaphragm allows organs to shift into the chest cavity, making it incredibly difficult to breathe.

Dr. Spork was in urgent need of life saving surgery—and because of your generosity, he got it. Thanks to your kindness, this brave boy has made it through surgery and is now on the road to recovery. He’s currently resting in an oxygen tank to support his healing, surrounded by love and care.

From the bottom of our hearts: thank you for helping us give Dr. Spork a second chance at the safe, peaceful life he deserves. 🐾🖤

Starsky & Hutch Have Been Adopted! 🧡

Their forever family shared this sweet update:

“Everything is going great! Within two weeks, they were totally at home. These photos are from earlier today—everyone hanging out in the kitchen, looking like the little models they are.

Starsky is our curious goofball and a true parkour pro—always climbing, exploring, or wrestling something (currently: a cardboard box). Hutch is the graceful queen of the house, a quiet observer who loves a good cuddle once you’ve earned her trust.

We’re so lucky—these are two of the best kitties ever.”

Halla Hazel is a petite tortie treasure (without the tortitude!) around 5 years old and bursting with love to give. This sweetheart adores her fellow felines and is often found snuggling up for a nap or handing out affectionate head bumps like little love notes.

She’s a total softie with people too — stretch your hand toward her, and she’ll reach up with her paws and head, politely insisting on more pets. We’re pretty sure once she’s comfy in her forever home, she’ll be a top-tier snuggle buddy — for both cats and humans!

Halla does have a bit of a snuffly nose, but she’s been checked by multiple vets who all agree it’s nothing contagious and not affecting her health. Just one of her many quirks that makes her uniquely lovable!

Howard Aspen is ready for his forever home! 🧡🐾

Since arriving in his foster home in January, Howard has blossomed into the sweetest, silliest companion. Once timid and unsure, he’s now a gentle, affectionate soul who greets his foster at the window each day and melts into head scritches during cozy couch time. Lately, he’s even started sitting next to his person while they read—huge progress for this formerly shy guy! 📖✨

Howard also loves other cats and has formed a heart-melting friendship with fellow PM alum Graham. They play, wrestle, and cuddle—yes, Graham even spoons him when Howard nudges in for snuggles! 💕
