Wags’ story is one of true resilience.

A Good Samaritan found him on the side of the road and thought he was deceased. 💔
When he was transferred to us from DAS, our medical team discovered both of his front limbs were broken and his back tendon was ruptured.

Despite undergoing surgery every few weeks, Wags remained the sweetest gentleman. His quirky personality never faded — and although he’ll likely have a slight limp throughout his life, it doesn’t affect his happiness one bit.

Because of the resources and care made possible by our supporters, dogs like Wags get the second chance they deserve. After 7 surgeries and 6 months of recovery, he’s healed beautifully and ready for his next chapter.

With shelter dogs, there are so many firsts… and for Samara, it was her very first boo basket! 👻

She loved every second of it — especially picking out her favorite toy.

At just 8 months old, Samara has a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. She’s sweet, friendly, and would make an amazing family dog.

A few of Putnam’s favorite things… and yes, no judgment here!

Putnam is a total sweetheart and even our Subaru Dog of the Month! His adoption fee is waived, plus he comes with some goodies. He’s 4 years old and was transferred from another shelter—while we don’t know much about his past, we do know he’s a lover who just wants all the love.

He adores adventures, cuddles, and playing in water—even rain doesn’t stop him from having fun!

Remi is the ultimate sweetheart who just wants to snuggle up on the couch and soak in all the love he can get. He’s the perfect mix of playful and cuddly — always up for treats, playtime, and meeting new people (and dog friends too!). 🐾

Louie’s whole world could change with just one chance… he’s been waiting for over 800 days! Our sweet 7-year-old gentleman has a smile that can light up any room. He came to us from another shelter, so while his past is a mystery, we know one thing—he has the biggest heart and is ready to share it with someone special.

Louie is the kind of dog who just wants to be your companion—curling up next to you on the couch, soaking up love, and giving gentle kisses. He walks great on leash, has lovely manners, and adores his people.

Now officially a senior, Louie is aging like fine wine and looking better than ever! He’s currently at our main shelter and is hoping to find a foster or forever home soon.
