Just a Few Things:
- Ice Melt and the refreezing snow can easily cut your dog’s paw pad. If this happens, put a sock on your dog’s paw and secure it with a stretchy, self adhesive bandage. This way it will keep the ice melt out and they won’t ingest it when they lick it. (Pads do heal very fast). Take off bandage after your walk.
- The chemical reaction that makes Ice Melt work actually makes walkways COLDER than the outside temperature (can you imagine 😳) Try to keep walks at a reasonable time. (Yes I know huskies have thicker pads, stop thinking every winter post is about you 😂😉)
- My secret to my accident prone self not breaking a bone every winter? Walk like a penguin. Flat feet, bent knees, and waddle. No heel-toe and zero faith in every step.

I knew there would come a time when I started this business where my clients would eventually get older. This year has just been THAT year where so many of my OGs decided it was time for them to go.

A little over a week ago I got a text saying that Milli decided it was that time for her as well. Thank you sweet girl for sharing so much of your journey on this earth with me. I hope you are snuggled in a warm bed kicking someone out of the center of it, finding a patch of sun to bake yourself in, or a nice patch of grass to roll around in (even though I’m pretty sure you were allergic because you were allergic to everything 😂). You were very your way or the highway but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank you for teaching me so much as trainer and sharing your heart with me ❤️
