🐶 Rubble is home safe after 4 days missing❗️
🐾 We received a call to help & went yesterday. Teddy & Charmaine met the family where there were a few sightings along the LIE Service Road 😱 but the family had already gone through the woods earlier searching. Unfortunately, Rubble went further into hiding. He was extremely fast and bolted from everyone he saw 😰 Feeding stations were put up and we canvassed the area talking to everyone possible. Teddy was there all day waiting for him to show. Lauren came to help and spotted the dog, on a property while driving. He was hungry and this was what we were hoping for.
❤️ Rubble's Dad was alerted and he got there quick. Teddy, once again, went over all calming signals, had Dad sit on the ground, so he doesn't appear to be a threat. He was talking real low and Rubble finally came out to his Dad ... so happy with his tail wagging 😊
😊 Special thanks to Teddy Henn, Lynn Fodale Charmaine DeRosa , Lauren Rene and to all that shared the posts, called in sightings and allowed feeding stations on their lawns to help get Rubble home 🐕

😊 We are so happy to report Zeus is safe❗️
🐾Teddy & Winston went to help. Flyers were hung and knocked on doors, asking everyone to check their video surveillance. Finally, a neighbor was able to locate what was needed, a clear video of a man picking up Zeus and putting him into his car. Everyone shared Zeus' flyer on social media and the video was aired on the news. The story was spread all over. This morning, the man that picked Zeus up (saw the news coverage) and called his family and returned Zeus back home.
😊 Special thanks to Teddy & Winston, Zeus' awesome family helping from near & far, CBS John Dias for airing the story, the awesome Community and to all that helped get this boy home.

❤️ Max is safe❗️
🐈‍⬛️ Max escaped from family who was watching him 10 days ago. He bashed through a really secure screen. His Mom & Dad (Alisa & Justin) came right home from vacation to search, so worried. They followed all advice, large flyers went up on all the poles & the sightings started coming in from people walking seeing the flyers, plus video clips from Neighbor's app. He was seen jumping very high fences and at 2 nearby sumps - cleared them easily. Max is very affectionate but we warned - his survival mode will be his priority. He was in an unfamiliar area (other ferals around marking territory) and he will likely be too scared to go to anyone. They had their own scent articles on hand (only owner's scent) and followed up immediately on each call.
🐈‍⬛️ On Monday Mom (Alisa) received a sighting and went there, down on the ground trying to get him to come to her - he got close but eventually left.
😺 Last night Max was finally at a feeding station down the block from where he ran away from. He was then seen across the street from the house he escaped from. Getting closer. Teddy was getting the trap ready and after some work on isolating Max' location, Dad (Justin) went on his knees throwing food to him. Max came out ate the food and went back into the bush over and over again. Justin slowly inched his way closer and still tossing food and talking to him. Max was crying and slowly came out to Dad's open arms! Real tear jerker to witness. Thank you Teddy Henn, Lynn-Fodale, Charmaine DeRosa, Alisa & Justin (Mom&Dad) Nicki and to all the amazing Community members in Commack that watched out and helped get Max home.

❗️Never give up .. Microchip❗️
💗 Today we are so grateful that Annie from Throgs Neck Shore is home safe after being missing for 2 1/2 years
💔 Kenny & Annie were so bonded and he was devastated that a piece of his family vanished. We were called to help, flyers went up for miles, Teddy went and searched for days with Kenny. Annie's microchip was reported as missing and all information was kept updated. Kenny never slept. We tracked down every lead.
⏳️As the weeks passed so many scenarios ran through our minds. Did she go in the water and taken out in high tide? Was she stolen and the reason flyers were taken down ? Kenny called us a few months later - he wanted to adopt another dog. He found a dog named Gio that he made a great connection with, but Annie would never be forgotten. Hearts were still broken.
📞 Today (2.5 years later) Kenny received a call from a NYC Police Officer. They found Annie tied to pole and left on the streets. She was thin and unfortunately not taken care of. As soon as Kenny got the call - he and his family ran there to get their girl❗️
💜 They were reunited today. Annie was so happy ... tail wagging like crazy. Then she went home to meet her new brother Gio 😊 Microchips work❗️
😊 Remeber get your pet microchipped,
Register it and keep that information updated. Welcome home sweet Annie 💓

🐕 Geri is safe❗️
🐾 We received a call for help with a new foster dog that escaped. Geri (Freckles) was not familiar with the area & very skittish. Teddy went right out to help. He drove from Sayville to Merrick & was able to locate Geri (in thick brush), behind a house between 2 fences ... and safely secured her❣️
😊 Special thanks to Teddy Henn, Geri's foster mom (Terri Lester) and Denise from Last Hope.

😊 Moss, missing from Baiting Hollow, has been safely trapped❗️
🐾 Moss escaped from his foster home on 8/9, scared and running from fireworks going off 🧨 He was unfamiliar with the area and bolted from every person he saw. His fosters (Steve & Lori) were up all night searching and so many kind people joined in to help.
🐕 After Moss returned close to the same area he escaped from, Teddy put a trap on the property and we waited nearby monitoring. We canvassed the area, talking to everyone in sight.
🌟Last night Teddy spotted him in the dark and strategically placed a second trap ahead of him, in a hidden cut through path. After about an hour, Moss smelled the delicious buffet waiting for him in the trap ... and he showed❗️ He got close or poked his head in the trap a few times, got spooked and left (a nail biter), but Moss finally returned and went in 🙌 Welcome home ❣️ We would like to thank Teddy Henn, Lynn Fodale, Charmaine DeRosa, Moss' foster family (Steve & Lori), the wonderful community of Baiting Hollow that searched and called in sightings.

🩷💛🧡Asia is safe 💛🧡🩷
Teddy went to Bridgehampton to help Asia missing since Friday. There was a sighting yesterday so Teddy brought the trap to set up nearby, after a brief search it was clear she moved. After an hour of searching Teddy found her 1/4 mile away and backed out to not spook her and instead of setting a trap he decided to call the owner (Helen) and had her come with Asia's sibling dog Sammy. He pointed out where she is and guided Helen step by step what to do.. Asia saw them and Bolted down a fence line along the edge of a field.. She didn't give herself a half a second to recognize Sammy and Helen…….Teddy saw her from a high viewpoint as to where Asia went.
He the told Helen to walk over there along the backside of the field. Asia popped her head out of the tall grass and seen her sibling Sammy and wanted to play, Helen softly called her name and threw her favorite treat to her and Asia did a double take at Helen, recognized her and ran to her ❣️
Helen grabbed her leash, gave her hugs and kisses💗💗
Thank you to Tracy McLaren for helping, ARF volunteers and to everyone else that was out searching. Also to the admins for sharing Asia's post on the pages and Rosemary for making the flyer..

❣️ Snoopy is safe ❣️
🐕 We received a call on Tuesday from the Brookhaven Shelter asking for help with a dog running loose for at least 2 weeks. Residents in the complex were leaving food and water out for Snoopy but he would not let anyone get close. A resident Turner got him to come out from the woods and started making a daily connection... but still not able to get close enough to secure this poor dog. 🙂 A Brookhaven ACO had a trap set and Turner was helping. That specific trap door slants down, Snoopy was too tall for it, and the trap was found in a closed position the next morning with no one in it. The door likely closed on him or he brushed against it and it loudly closed making Snoopy very leary and afraid of the trap.
🐾 Teddy went Tuesday with a large trap. After setting it all up with delicious food trailed in 🌭 Snoopy wanted no part of it. After many hours it became obvious this dog was not falling for it. ⌛️ Teddy noticed Snoopy watching so he pretended to eat the food (with a snappy snare ready). He would get really close and interested, but keep his distance just out of reach.. This went on until 3:30 a.m.
🐕 Wednesday came and Teddy, Winston and Charmaine returned. The larger trap was reset & Teddy brought Winston to try and help lure Snoopy close enough to secure him. At first Snoopy was very afraid of little Winston and would run into the woods, but after a while of Winston on a 30' long lead he kept slowly approaching Snoopy making wimpering sounds with his tail up high wagging, letting Snoopy know he was no threat. Snoopy came nose to nose with Winston and even started to play with him, tail wagging..so happy. Snoopy has been so scared for who knows how long this brief moment was very important and may pay dividends for what was going to happen the next morning. Still, he would not get close enough to Teddy to secure him.
😨 Teddy spent a very long time laying on the ground with Winston on a short lead and just when progress was made, so close ... Snoopy would back up and run into the woods. When Teddy got up and walked away - Snoopy would come out and follow him . If he turned around, Snoopy backed away - over and over again. This went on until 1:30 a.m.
🌧Thursday we had horrendous rain storms all day but we got the call we were waiting for - The rescue can bring Snoopy's sibling dog Onyx to try and lure Snoopy closer.
🌞 This morning Teddy met with the rescue, had Onyx on a short leash (with the snare open and around Onyx) Snoopy recognized Onyx and as the 2 dogs got closer and nose to nose, Teddy moved the loop past Snoopy's nose and around his neck and safely secured him! Both Snoopy & Onyx are now safe at Sav-a-Pet
😊 Thanks to Teddy Henn, Winston, Lynn Fodale, Charmaine DeRosa, Turner Brunson, Brookhaven Animal Shelter ACO's, Pam (Sav-a-Pet) and to the residents that called and helped save Snoopy.
