Volunteers needed!

Do you love cats? Do you have strong communication skills and the ability to manage people and tasks? We have multiple volunteer opportunities open that would use your skills!

• General Volunteer Coordinator: This volunteer is responsible for recruiting, screening applicants, training, and supporting volunteers who are not fosters.

• Foster Coordinator: This volunteer is responsible for recruiting, screening applicants, training, and supporting our foster caregivers. This person should have at least two years experience fostering cats, plus basic medical knowledge (like dewormer dosing and sanitizing procedures) or the willingness to learn.

Are you ready to enjoy a great meal while supporting our cats and kittens? Join us at Red Robin in Plymouth this Monday, August 4th! Our fundraiser runs from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., so both lunch and dinner (and dessert) count.

August kicks off Clear the Shelters month — a nationwide pet adoption and donation campaign that helps find loving homes for animals in need! We are running several promos for the month to help our cats find their forever homes.

From August 1 through August 31:
• If you adopt any single cat one year of age or older, you will receive 10% off the adoption fee.
• If you adopt any pair of cats one year of age or older, you will receive 25% off the adoption fee.
• If you adopt any of our cats listed on our Never Give Up page, you will receive 50% off the adoption fee (https://www.kittyrevolution.org/nevergiveup).
• We have a few groups of cats that need to be adopted as a trio. For these trios, we have a buy two get one free promo!
• Dora had her adoption fee generously covered for July, and that has been extended through August. She has some special dietary needs that are more expensive than the normal cat. Talk to an adoption specialist for more details!

We are SO close to our shoe drive goal with only one week to go! Since we're so close, we're bringing our goal up a little higher, which means we're still a bit over 80% there.

Huge thank you to everyone who has donated shoes so far, like Jack Stine and his family. Jack, with his majestic orange cat Daniel, managed to wrangle over 60 pairs of shoes from his extended family! 🧡

If you have shoes to donate, we have lots of drop-off locations at businesses and volunteer homes around the Twin Cities (and a few beyond) for your unwanted new and used shoes in good condition. Please email [email protected] to learn where your nearest drop-off location is! Our shoe drive ends on August 6th.

We mentioned that we have kittens, right? Well, more of our kittens are officially adoptable!

🍰 Pictured are the adorably sweet Dessert litter: Ganache, Biscotti, Brownie, Eclair, Tiramisu, and Caramel. Visit our adoptable cats page to learn more about them.

These six kittens have already been spayed and neutered and are ready to find their families, but we still have over $5,000 in other spay and neuter surgeries to cover next month.

Can you help by sponsoring a spay or neuter surgery? They run about $145 each. If you do cover the cost of a surgery, you can send us a direct message, and we'll send you a cute photo of one of our kittens (who is awaiting their surgery) as a thank you!

St. Paul Parks and Recreation is hosting an Animal Resource Fair on Monday, July 28th at Harriet Island Park.

Join us there and pick up a handmade catnip toy or cozy bed for your cat! This free event connects animal lovers with information and resources, and there will even be a free vaccine clinic on-site for pets to receive rabies and distemper shots along with exams.
