Please pray for us all to be safe. We are having a hail storm and the animals are not doing good. Please pray it ends soon. This picture was taken 20 mins before the storm.

Here are 8 of 17 dogs on the bed as our couch to accommodate our dogs. A couch is to small. This is so hard on my heart because the dogs in the rescue dont have a home and have a family to love them when they are scared. I just checked on the 18 rescue dogs in the rescue and they are ok and let them know it's ok.

The rescue building that has 17 cats and 18 dogs do have a radio in the rescue to help them keep calm durbing storms.

Please help and foster a dog or cat for us to help give them have a home so they do not have to be alone. Message us if you can help. Thank you

Come see us at the Cycle Showcase in Sturgis Bike Rally today!!! Ozzy and Harriet are working the kissing booth thanks to Randal.

********We are so Sorry********

🐈🧹STARS No Kill Rescue is looking to expand our team. We are in need of volunteers to come in for about an1 hour while we are open to help clean our cat lounge and if you can help clean and feed our other small animals. We have 3 wonderful lady's that come in once a month and we love it.Thank you Lady's.
🐱If you want to only help with cats that is OK.

We had the other day a couple, had come in before we were open. Lori and Jenn was not finished cleaning. They come by before we were open and Lori had told them that they were not finished cleaning or done with all the litter boxes and apologized for the smell.

Unfortunately, they did not accept her apologize and complained. Then they want to go to the thrift store. Lori had to more the cats and kittens over the back room of the thrift store, because this was from that man that dumped 9 cats and kittens off and threatened to harm Lori if she did not take them and also threatened to Shot each and every cat and kitten.

Our fosters were not able to get some of them until later that day. Then lori took all the rest home with her.

Lori told the couple, we were closed and there were cats in the thrift store that see had not got to clean yet. They insisted to bring the items in. They let Lori know, they will never come back to us again because of the smell.

This offends us all so much. Lori goes to the store an hour early just to make sure the place is clean before opening. This day was when we had way to many cats and kittens because of that mean man, so yes it did smell before litter boxes were done. Now we have several of them in foster homes and Lori has a grand total of 23 of STARS Rescue Cats and kittens at her home plus the fur even gang of 15.

So we do scoop liter boxes, 3 times a day and try to keep the number of cats and kittens down. But if you come before we are open and we warn you, we are sorry but we all do our best. We do not get paid for what we do. So when people say things like they will never come back, that hurts us all and the animals.

We appreciate all our supportters and we do not like to lose any of you. So please if you have an hour to spare and would like to pop in to help scoop liter boxes, clean windows, vacuum up cat hair, plus play and give pets, along with feeding and watering our rescue animals please call or stop in to talk to Lori at 605 381 4606.

Thank you and please have your pets fix so you help stop the overcrowding of unwanted pets in shelters.

If anyone is ri h enough and would love to buy us the robotic round liter boxes with the cabinet for our cat lounge this would be a blessing. We need 2 for the cat room and 1 for the back room.

They are very expensive and we are over $6,000 in the hole still in vet bills and utilities.

Don't forget we are raffling off $500 cash so if you donate we can enter you in to will for only $5 a ticket.

We will be at the Steel Pony Campground. We are inside the Cycle Showcase Building with Kayla my friend and Lucy our rescue dogs.

White one is Callum (Cal-neutered male and is 2 years old. Penelope Darla is black and spayed almost a year old.

Callum is quiet and hardly ever meows/he loves the top of his head scratched. He loves his food bowl full. He also loves to look out the front door onto the deck and loves to look out the windows!

P. Darla loves her food bowl filled also! She is really affectionate! She is a real talker and loves her big brother Callum. Follows him but is also independent. She will lay on or near me when I am not feeling well and that is really nice! She is in her teenage period and is a little mischievous and will run around and get the zoomies playing with Callum.

They both are bonded and need to stay together. They come with all there belongings. They have quiet the set up.

There is a rehome fee. Please only reply if you can afford to care for these 2 kitties even tho they come with everything, they will still need regular vacciness, food and litter.

We do require a vet reference. Your landlords information and a home check.

Is anyone will to take in some kittens as there own and mom needs a home too. They are a little shy. You can pet them. Unfortunately we can not take them in nor can we foster them because we have NO FUNDS.

We are looking to find responsible people to get them there vaccines, deworm them and get them fixed.
