Camp Discovery, Maysville, KY CAMP DISCOVERY, MAYSVILLE, KY Free summer day camp experience for any and all area young people, ages 5 thru 12.

Our home base is the shelter at the Beechwood Park. The Lions Club also allows us to use their building which is adjacent to the park. It's used for breakfast each morning, for Dinosaur School (via Comprehend Regional Mental Health and Substance Abuse Agency), and is very helpful when it rains

We would like to offer interested campers some cooking skills. In the past we’ve done “Cooking School” - a couple hours daily for a week, in cooperation with Mason County Extension Center.
Their personnel have changed, and they no longer “have time” for Cooking School with Camp Discovery. Is there anyone interested in putting together a week-long series of sessions to offer to maybe a dozen or so of our campers…maybe age 9 to twelve.
Let Dave or Jessica know if you would like to put something together…

Camp Discovery begins Tuesday, May 27 and continues, Monday thru Friday, until August 22. Hours are 7:30 to 3:30.
(There are two days Camp will not meet: Juneteenth and July 4.)
Every camp day begins with breakfast at the Lion’s Club at 7:30. There will also be lunch and a snack each day, and packs of weekend food for those interested.
Register your camper(s) - aged 5 to 12 - the first day they attend. Registration never closes. It’s never “too late” to start coming to Camp Discovery.
Camp Discovery is FREE to all campers!
