In fact, I sometimes think I should be a lap dog! Instead, I may lay my soft floofiness against your side just to show you how much I care. I'm a friendly lass who enjoys bouncing around and being my silly self! I like chasing toys 🧸 and bringing them back to you. No one knows much about my background but I've had a little training as I know "sit" and seem to know the "out" command. Did I mention how much I like treats? There have been multiple individuals attacked by rabid foxes on Fort Huachuca in the past month in and around Huachuca Canyon, Reservoir Hill and Wren Arena. The Environmental Division have euthanized and tested multiple foxes and one coyote, which all tested positive for rabies. Foxes, skunks, raccoons and bats are the most common carriers of rabies. The Huachuca Mountains, including Fort Huachuca, have seen an increase in rabies cases in the past few months. Avoid contact with wildlife acting erratically. Clear the area, call 520.678.8112 or 520.533.3000 ASAP, be cautious around water and while walking your pets. Huachuca Canyon and Reservoir Hill will remain closed until Feb. 7. Residents in Bonnie Blink and Cavalry Park 1, 2 & 3, and visitors to the Fort Huachuca Cemetery, Wren Arena and Buffalo Corral should also be extra vigilant.
