E-collars sold like "safe" and "humane", fooled a lot of people.

This class action is going to rectify this possibility to lie about the true damage it can do. 🤞🏽

Radio Systems Corporation) has resulted in compensation for consumers after claims that e-collars were misrepresented in sales and marketing as “safe” and “humane.” The complaint also outlined that such devices can cause both physical injury and psychological harm to dogs. Progress isn't linear.

No matter if you're training a cute puppy or dealing with reactivity issues, there will be times where you feel like you're losing all the progress you made. 🫠
The feeling is even more painful when it comes to behaviour modification because it is so draining. 😔

And most of the time there's no quick fix, no magic wand.

It's crucial to take it one step at a time, with patience, consistency and support from dog professionals like a R+ trainer and/or an experienced dog walker, along with a vet team who listens to you and your dog's needs. 🫂

It's not an easy journey, there will be relapses, frustration, tears.😫
But if we focus on the small victories and learn from the fails, if we trust the process, that's where we'll see the change. 💪🏽

Honoring the memory of Dr Jane Goodall, zoologist, anthropologist and primatologist. 🕊️
Dr Goodall understood way before lots of her colleagues, that the way we see, treat and interact with animals, should be based on empathy and understanding. 🙏🏽
Even though she wasn't specialized in dogs, she did a lot for the modern and science based methods I advocate for today.

Thanks for everything you did for us, for the animals,
For speaking up for the good causes,
For always being a wise and kind voice.
May you rest in power, Dr Goodall 🙏🏽
