It’s a front porch afternoon over here with boarding buddies Griffon and Roger, Happy the Cat, and the Pom Trio- sharing couches, pouring out of beds, and snoozing on the raised bed! What a day it is to be a loved pup at Pinnacle Pet Care Corvallis!

Neko has been slow to warm up, but that means every milestone feels like Christmas! This is his second pet sit.
He went from hiding and evading to coming out for:
-“food only please and thank you”, to-
“ok, fine, I’ll smell your finger.” Then to-
“just one pet by the tail, please.”
Now we’ve moved on to:
“Yes, play is grand!”
“You can clean my eyes- thank youuuuy!”
And
“I’ll walk near you and up to you”.

Very good boy, Neko!!

Handsome Ringo, my gentle and endearing boarding buddy.
Peanut and Pearl, whose owner is on their way to Africa!
Little Emily who’s easy to love and also boarding until the 5th.
A purrrrfect new nail trim kitty named Ro- and her mama’s gorgeous rock art.
Mister Olcifari- whose owners have found the perfect mix of meds to keep this adorable and headstrong buddy a little more chill for his nail trims.
…and my dearest purr machine, Happy the cat, on her favorite perch in the house: my lap.

It’s a doggone good time over here with all of my boarding buddies! Junior and Nugget got some beach time in with the PomTrio yesterday, and today Ringo joined the fun 🙂 🤩

Señor Stitch has joined the boarding buddies this week! He’s still full of it: floof, spice, and barks, but settles into his second home here as well as always 🙂

He, Skye, and Emily are having a lovely time with the Pom Trio this week!

Welcome Skye and Emily!

Skye is a darling and shy sheltie who is now stuck to me like maple syrup to pancakes 🙂 she’s enjoying her new canine comrades and being a wonderful little house guest for a ten day summer stay.

Miss Emily is a dear older doxie who experiences partial paralysis of her hind quarters due to a very unfortunate accident last year. It sure doesn’t dampen her little spirit! She’s kind and interested in food, pets, and especially cats, and does pretty darn well all things considered. She’s here for an extended three week stay and will meet lots of new dog buddies during her time here.

Valley has had a lovely stay this week, enjoying the air conditioning during the afternoons, bunk beds with Suzy at night, and yard play with neighbor dog Violet and resident Pom Winnie!
