- Salvation Army: Provides assistance and takes donations.

🎉Allandale Veterinary Clinic is a proud sponsor! 🎉

The 2025 Violet Crown Festival returns on May 3rd at Brentwood Park, hosted by Violet Crown Community Works (VCCW), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the Brentwood and Crestview communities.

VCCW has supported projects like the Wall of Welcome and Voices of the Violet Crown, Voices of the Violet Crown, stories of neighbors creating community in Central Austin. This year, proceeds will benefit the Brentwood Park Playground Improvement Project.

This free, family-friendly festival features local artisans, community booths, kids’ activities, live music, jugglers, and a diverse food court.

New for 2025: BBQ Beef Brisket Cook-Off!
Austin neighborhoods will face off in an amateur brisket cook-off, where festival-goers sample and vote for the best BBQ. Don’t miss this exciting new addition!

Thank you guys for loving Hank with us over these past few years. 💜 Sadly, he farted his way across the rainbow bridge last Friday surrounded by his harem of caretakers. We miss him so much already. We truly hope he haunts the clinic and crop dusts us from the afterlife. 💨
