Su***de prevention isn’t just explicit conversations about mental health. Su***de prevention can be seen in every day small actions that we take as a community to care for one another. Showing up to re-paint a covered rainbow crosswalk honoring the lives of those lost in the Pulse shooting is an act of community care and su***de prevention. Fighting against the erasure of history and holding space for generational healing is an act of community care and su***de prevention. Taking care of your neighbor and looking out for one another is community care and su***de prevention. When people have the support they need, it can help them find the hope they need to make it to tomorrow.

Every day, people are choosing to stay, and every day, people are showing up as a reminder that hope and love are still alive and well. Thank you for being a part of that community.
