🏡Forever Home Friday🏡

This sweet girl's Forever Family had a lot to say about her new life outside of the shelter. Here are just a few things they had to say about Brandy!

This is "Koa's" first true Forever Home Friday! Her new name is Brandy! She had 29 days in the shelter, she's 4 years old and had zero training. But those days are past now, and she's going to enjoy life on the farm (with one old goat, several chickens and 3 doggy siblings, one kind, gentle, loving Momma and a fantastic Auntie!) and many adventures with her new family.

She's learned so much in just one week!
*Sit
*stay
*lay down
*wait easy (at the crate door to put her leash on)
*(always) sit/stay at the door until released
*(always) sit/stay for her food bowl until she's calm
*Up (onto things like climbing rocks or the truck seat)
*Load Up (into the crate)
*Leave It
And most importantly, she's learned to TRUST.
All of this just took a little effort and love! She's incredibly smart!
