Meow, I’m Hank! I’m a 2-year old, neutered male orange tabby cat. I was transferred here to the Summit County Animal Shelter to find a new home. I’m a super friendly guy who gets along with other cats and loves to be with people. I can be timid in new places, so you might find me hiding on top of the cabinets in the shelter's cat social room. I can’t wait to have a loving family of my own…can I go home with you?

Woof, I’m Adele! I’m a 1-year old, spayed female, Doberman Pinscher weighing around 76lbs. I’m a very friendly, energetic and outgoing girl. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy chewing bones. Are you looking for a sweet new adventure buddy? Please adopt me and give me a loving home. I was just returned to the shelter for jumping a 3-4 foot split rail fence to say hello to some other dogs, so I will need a higher fence than that to keep me in.

Woof, I’m Smudge! I’m a 1-year old, neutered male, Lab mix weighing about 50lbs. I’m a silly guy who loves to play with toys and get affection from people. I can be timid at first but quickly become a wiggle butt that gives you kisses. Not much is known about my past because I was abandoned at the shelter overnight with no note, but I can’t wait to be adopted into the caring home I deserve. Let’s go on an adventure, I can’t wait!

I'm a timid girl who takes a while to warm up, but once I do, I'm a goofball who gives gentle kisses. Tim's family says, "We are having a blast. He is my best friend, we go on hikes, dog parks, swimming. He also won the Skippy Scarfdown Contest (fastest food eater) at the Larimer Co Humane Society fund raiser benefit! He is the best guy and so much fun!"

A HAPPY TAIL Pupdate!!!

This adorable puppy is Neo (fka Nikolai), recently adopted from our shelter! It's great to know that he's fitting in so well and to see him already on all sorts of adventures!!!

Neo's new family says, "Neo and our other dog are besties. They play like brothers and even snuggle together on their dog beds. He has normal husky puppy digging and chewing. Nothing that can’t be handled with redirection, gentle correction, antlers and lots of exercise. We were happy to work with you!"
