Happy Father's Day to all of the dads (human or otherwise!)

If it weren't for my dad helping pack and bring our furniture up to Toledo back in May 2015 (yes, 10 years ago!) I wouldn't have met all of you and your pets! He may not want to take credit for all that hard work, but you can tell from the pics that Luckie and I were far more decorative than functional that weekend 😅

At Maumee Bay yesterday, it took us a minute to figure out why this wasn't moving despite THREE huge being nearby. I thought maybe it was it injured and was prepared to call the wildlife rescue for help.

But then I saw the two eggs SHE was protecting! Motherhood is truly for the brave!

Fun Fact: you may think your dogs love me, but they absolutely adore Nana! Losing Luckie was very hard both on me and mom, but having dogs stay at our house has helped heal our hearts little by little. They love cuddling with her on the couch and getting spoiled with endless love and treats 💖
