🌈🐾 Are you participating in the Springer Sprint in memory of a dog who has crossed the Rainbow Bridge?

We’d be honored to have them run with you. 💙💚

After you register for the Springer Sprint, email Amanda at [email protected] and let us know you’re participating in memory of a special dog. We’ll send you “Your Pawprints Run With Me” bracelet to wear during your 10K. 🐾

Because even though they may no longer be by our side, their pawprints are with us every step of the way. 🌈❤️

Transport is Saturday, August 22

Millie and Walter are 5 year old neutered English Springer Spaniel siblings who need to get to their foster home. This is a very long transport but they do like to ride in the car. They are good in the car with harness and seatbelt. They are crate trained and have limited experience with other dogs. Millie like to potty with a ball in her mouth. She also pulls on the lead more than Walter. Neither can’t be trusted off lead as they may chase other animals. They will be traveling with their 2 large metal crates and food.

All legs have an additional 15 minutes to allow for hellos, potty break and transfer.

If you can help, please email [email protected]
Please do not hit reply all, as it will go to everyone on the MAESSR list.

Please include the indicated information at the bottom of this email (copy and paste this information with your response to help.)

Only a few more days!!!! Here's another reminder to submit photos for the 2027 MAESSR calendar, if you haven't done so already. If you've already submitted photos - thank you!!

Remember - all photos need to be submitted by JULY 15, 2026 to be included in the 2027 calendar. We need both seasonal AND any time of year photos.

Before You Submit Your Photos:
Rename (label) each photo follows:
Your Last Name Your First Name - Dog's Name #1
Your Last Name Your First Name - Dog's Name #2 and so on.

Additional Information To Have On Hand When You Submit Your Photo:
When you upload your photo, you will be asked to supply the dog's original MAESSR name and the year he or she was adopted, so please have that information handy!

How To Submit Your Photos:
Scroll down and fill out the form and submit your photos!

Guidelines:
1. At least one dog in your photo must be a MAESSR adopted dog
2. Each family can submit up to 6 photos
3. Landscape and portrait (up and down) photo orientations are acceptable, but please do not submit uncropped screenshots
4. Jpeg, png, tiff, heic and most other formats are fine
5. There should be no humans in the photos (except Santa). The Easter Bunny can also be in photos. Other than that - only pets please
6. PLEASE do not submit pictures that have been in previous MAESSR calendars. (we know it was a great shot, that is why we chose it in the past, but lets gives others a chance to shine)

Please be sure to follow all instructions about labeling and submitting the photos.

MEMORIAL PAGE: For dogs who passed in the last year since last June. If you are submitting a photo for the Memorial Page, be sure to click "yes" on the radio button asking if the photo is for the Memorial Page.

THE FUN STUFF: There is no limit on the subjects: springers with toys, getting into trouble, travel, multiple dogs, sitting pretty, action shots, funny shots and seasonal shots - anything goes! We need everything - seasonal photos and photos from any time of the year.

TIPS FOR GOOD PHOTOS Make sure your dog is the focal point of your photos - the dog should stand out against the background. Watch your photo background for busy-ness that might distract from the dog. Try to capture your dog's personality. Don't forget about lighting - sometimes under exposure or over exposure can make an unfortunate difference. Keep your camera close - you never know what your springer is going to do!

Any photos submitted may be used in future MAESSR publications or merchandise. Remember that MAESSR accepts photos of your MAESSR dog anytime!

Looking forward to receiving all of your photos!

The Guidelines You can submit at any point throughout the year, but the deadline is July 15; any photos received after that date will be considered an early submission for the next edition of the calendar Please rename your files “LastNameFirstName – Dog Name” as we do not know what your dogs ...
