To highlight dogs available for adoption at the SPCA of Wake County in Raleigh, NC - especially those that are long timers.

The K9 Crew, an initiative of the SPCA of Wake County's Behavior Team, is a group of trained volunteers that focus on highlighting some of the dogs who linger at the SPCA. The K9 Crew was first called the "Pit Crew" and originated to repair and rebuild the reputation of the American Pit Bull Terrier in our community. That work will continue as we move forward as the K9 Crew.

There is a 🔎mystery🔍 to solve at the SPCA! Why on earth is 🐾 Carver 🐾 still available for adoption? This ridiculously handsome brindle boy is 5 years old and weighs about 40 pounds. He is the sweetest, most gentle dog. He likes to be close to his people and is ready to snuggle on the couch with you. He can be a bit nervous as he settles into new places and routines but is building his confidence every day! Let’s help this amazing boy find his forever home!😘
