Today was a multiplier onion haul—and whew, there's a lot of onions! 🧅💪🏽
A few years ago, a community member came to volunteer at the garden and gifted me a simple bag of multiplier onion bulbs. I shared them with other volunteers and planted a few myself, not thinking much of it at the time. Since then, those little bulbs have multiplied—literally and symbolically.
They’ve survived freezing winters ❄️, fed families all spring 🌱, and been pulled up each summer with even more to share. These onions are a reminder of what community and consistency can grow.
🌿 Why I love multiplier onions:
They're perennial, which means they come back year after year.
They multiply underground, giving you more bulbs every season.
Hardy and low-maintenance—perfect for beginner gardeners.
Flavorful, versatile, and packed with nutrients.
One gift, one shared bag of bulbs, has turned into years of harvests. This is why we grow. This is why we share. 💚
Let’s keep multiplying abundance in our gardens and communities.
Let’s get growing. 🌱
