Betty Lou is a very calm 8 year old female cocker spaniel mix who just came into rescue this week. She is low energy and loves being petted and is just so mellow! She weighs about 20 # and other dogs and cats don't bother her because of her easy going personality. She would definitely compliment a lower activity level home and brighten your day! Lost and afraid little R***r was found in the middle of a farm road and was taken into rescue last week. He is 11 weeks old and his foster Dad is making sure he receives confidence training to face the big world ahead. If you are interested in giving R***r a safe home he will be at Petsmart in Washington, Mo on Saturday from 11-3 pm. He is so lucky he was found in time.

This is Harvey the Rabbit who is a voluntary self-declared rescue bunny that just showed up at the rescue. He has helped himself to our timothy hay and our clover, terrified our sanctuary cat whom he outweighs, and taunts our hunting rescue dogs mercilessly! We suspect he was dumped as an Easter present and he won't let us near him yet now we need to figure out a warm hutch for him before it gets cold? Please share any rabbit hutch ideas and resources as this is "HAREowing" to say the least!

Tucker is such a Rock Star! He has been at the sanctuary for over two years when he was adopted by a kindhearted gentleman whose dog recently passed away. He now gets to go turtle collecting ( when a turtle size rock isnt available), to the lake, and sleeps in a soft human bed. His star is finally shining! We never give up that our rescues will find the perfect person just for them!
