Summer adventures are awesome—but the heat can turn dangerous for dogs fast. Here’s how to keep your pup safe, cool, and ready for fun all season long:

☀️ Avoid Mid-Day Summer Trips to Beat the Heat
During the hottest parts of the day, try to stay inside as. much as possible. If mid-day is the only time you can be out with your pup, have water ready to drink and play with water toys like splash pads or sprinklers.

🌡️ Danger Zone: 75°F and Up
Once temps hit the mid-70s, pavement and car interiors can become dangerously hot—even if it doesn’t feel that bad to you.

🐾 Paw Protection Tip:
Place your hand on the pavement for 7 seconds—if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for your pup’s paws!

💦 Cool-Down Musts:
* Offer water every 15–20 minutes during outdoor time
* Let your pup relax on a cooling mat or damp towel
* Provide shaded rest spots during walks or play
