Meet Mars (we will be changing his name, so drop your one-two syllable name suggestions below)

If some don’t know, changing names can be extremely helpful for rehabs with a bite history, negative name association, or even just for starting fresh!

Mars is an 11 month old, ABCA registered, intact male who has a pretty lengthy bite history, starting unfortunately with his own people. They did reach out for training and he did well, but despite their efforts they still had to result to muzzling him during certain situations, after speaking with me they decided it was best to seek out rehab + rehome.

I’m thankful they sought help, Mars was another bite away from being removed from their home. Dogs like this take time, patience, and lots of studying their body language! I’ll be excited to take on this little project and help him through this process!

When you get a call from Ronnie Hall saying Tate was a total show off at this past weekends CowCreek Stockdogs trial….

You can’t help but laugh at him… apparently he showed up and showed out on teaching a really rough heifer how to play nice. Tate is serious about his job on the farm, but has been known to turn in zoomie circles behind his herd while bringing him by crowds of people at trials…. He might have drank too much Red Bull… literally all the time 😂😂

Announcement🐾

With the newest addition being two little feet and lots of other things happening, I’ve decided to resume my personal journey with Diverse Dog♥️

I’ve learned lots, my path is mine and now it’s time to really deep dive into what I know my heart needs and wants, included in this decision is what’s best for our family! Focusing on my own dogs careers, board and trains, re hab & re homes, and building a beautiful relationship with my clients is what is important to me!

I’m so happy about this decision, welcome back to Diverse Dog ♥️🐾

We’d like to thank everyone for the outpouring of support and love we have received since announcing baby J just a short while ago!

I really love my FB family and lots of you guys are extremely close friends!

Enjoy this silly picture that I think would depict my dogs thoughts on adding a tiny human to the bunch!

Tick: I love babies, it can’t get here soon enough.. I give all the good pregnancy snuggles in bed!

Vendetta: are you joking me, one more person to look out for, yall expect so much out of me..

Spec: oh my gosh, panic mode has set in, I better still be your favorite boy, what are we doing to do? This is stressful, are we sure this is happening? As long as it doesn’t hinder our relationship mom, it’s fine I guess, I’m putting my big brother pants on, let’s study up.

Flip: geez Spec, hahaha, you panic too much, look on the bright side, it’s one more kid to throw us a ball, all that matters, is herding and retrieving, I’m confident baby can do both🤣🤣🤣🤣

Rex 🐾

Is looking for a forever home. He spent several months with a stock dog trainer and didn’t turn on, he was brought to me to see if he had sport or stock interest. He would chase a toy intermittently, but didn’t show enough interest or progression for me to see potential (just me being transparent), so I’d call him a wash, his parents/siblings work stock but he just didn’t make the cut. I’ve had him on stock myself, he couldn’t care less. He is a chicken chaser so not saying you couldn’t get him turned on that way, but not something we’re willing to seek out. If you’re looking for something to just go with you and hang out he’s perfect!

Rex is house & crate trained
Good recall
Sit/lie down
Loads in the truck
Good on leash
Good with other dogs, is neutral, not much interest in playing etc with other dogs.
Good for bath etc.

Meet Cue 🐾

Cue is our last puppy to sell from our last Tick x Jake litter.

Cue will undergo all the training my own puppies do while he’s still here, as he grows, his price will increase. He will be exposed to everything and when he’s a bit older we will start him on stock. If you’re thinking you’ve always wanted one of my puppies but would like it started, now is the chance to have that.

I spy Jada, all over the house! Napping and being comfy!

Jada is still searching for the perfect home and let me tell you, if you’ve ever wanted a perfect corgi, she’s it. If I didn’t have what I do, I’d seriously keep her myself!

Jada is great with my puppies and older dogs, spayed, registered from health tested parents, utd on vaccines, crate & house trained and the perfect companion for hiking, swimming, and all things fun! Please continue to share her post and tell people about her!

TWO Bowies 🐾 in the M&D Border Collie family now!

Red from our Lex x Spec litter owned by Christine Pritchard and Nichole Pritchard and Black from our Tick x Jake litter owned by Courtney O'Brien!

Big Bowie is doing great at home and I heard wreaking havoc on the place (in good ways) 🤪 and is enjoying playing with his new big brother!

The message is from Baby Bowies family, he did great on the long ride home yesterday! We love good updates ❤️

Walkies with Jada ❤️

Jada has settled in beautifully, playing with the pack while at a super busy dock diving trial, I swam her yesterday and she really liked the water, I’ll get videos today!

Jada is still looking for a home, she does great with my dogs and even plays with them! Crates amazing too and never makes a peep! Continue to look out for Jada the perfect home!

Meet Jada!

Jada is looking for a forever active home!
She is a 1 year 7 month old, spayed, ACA registered corgi

Her story is simple: she was bred and kept as a breeding prospect but over time she became a fight picker with one of their other females, in a multi-dog home with both intact males, neutered males, intact and spayed females, she only fought with the one female! In best efforts to solve the problem it was deemed best that Jada be spayed and not used as a breeding prospect by the breeder. Now, we’re trying to find her a home with maybe 1 or 2 other dogs that aren’t pushy and a family with an active lifestyle!

I’ve had her around my wild pack and no fights have been started, she has given a few fair corrections to my young dogs!

Jada is house and crate trained, is amazing on leash, great in the car and good with kids!
