Here at Tails and Scales we know how much our pets mean to us, unfortunately we cannot constantly have them by our side, and leaving them home alone can be stressful for both you and your pet. Whether it's popping in 1-3

times a day, or an overnight stay, we can reduce anxiety and keep your pet safe, comfortable, and stimulated. Overnight stays can include services such as feeding/watering, playtime, litter box maintenance, outdoor play, brushing, etc. Don't have any furry/scaly family members? Let us watch your house while you're away! Schedule a stop in for us to collect your mail, water your plants, take out trash etc.

*Before we schedule any services we would like to set up a consultation in your home to meet your pets and get to know their schedule*

1. Are there cameras in the cottage?
Yes! There is one camera that we have access to in the cottage

2. How long are the dogs kenneled during the day?
Unlike most boarding facilities, we let dogs have full access to the yard through the doggy door, and dogs are only kenneled (in a 5x5 suite) if we have to leave the property, or at night.

3. Do the dogs get much time with people?
Yes! Every dog gets daily enrichment and lots of love. This is our full time job and we devote time to each dog every day.

Champ, our 3-legged rescue boarder met a new friend today!

We're still raising funds for Champs medical costs, including his neuter, heartworm treatment, dental for a broken tooth, vaccines, etc! He's also still looking for a long term foster until December.

He's only been off of the streets for less than a week and he's already proven to have a heart of gold. Only wanting love 💕

✨💕Meet Champ, our 3-legged rescue boarder 💕✨

Champ was found living on the streets and thanks to a few kind souls, he has been taken from the streets, provided vet care, and now he's bunking with us until we can find a long term foster. His original finder would like to adopt him once his house is ready in December.

Champ has heart worms and is positive for a tick born disease called Erlichia. He received all his vaccinations, dewormer and his flea/tick/heartworm preventative. We're proceeding with the slow kill method for his heart worm treatment.

Champ has a heart of gold and only wants to be loved. He loves giving face kisses!! 💕 He deserves to be happy, healthy, and loved.
