🎉 200 Lives. One Summer. All Love. 🎉

We set a goal to save 200 lives this summer. It was big. It was bold. And it happened!!!

As of today, 222 cats and kittens have been rescued, cared for, and placed on the path to a brighter future. Each one has a story — from tiny bottle babies to shy shelter cats — and each one now has the chance to know love.

And we’re not stopping here. With just 2 days left, there are still more paws waiting to cross the finish line with us.

If you’ve been thinking about adding a furry friend to your life, now is the time. Every adoption changes two lives — theirs and yours. 🐾

☀️🩵 ADOPTION NEWS!! 🩵☀️

This past week, 13 precious cats and kittens began their next chapter in life—with loving families of their very own. 😻✨

It’s never just a number—it’s 13 unique stories. A shy kitten who finally felt brave enough to curl up in her adopter’s arms… a bouncy little tabby who instantly claimed the sunny spot on the couch… a gentle young cat who left her kennel behind for a home filled with love.

To our adopters, fosters, and volunteers: you are the heart of ARE Animal Rescue. Thank you for making dreams come true—over and over again. 💗 We can’t do what we do without each and every one of you!

Please help us cover the vet bills for July’s spay & neuter surgeries of 117 kittens, cats, puppies & dogs.

99 kitties and 18 pups were made ready for adoption in July alone. This effort cost us $12,760 just for that month. This is only one part of our ongoing commitment. In June, we had over 100 surgeries at a similar cost, and starting next week, we’ll be taking another 100+ pets to the vet for August surgeries.

Paying these vet bills is a huge financial challenge for our non-profit rescue, especially since fundraising has not yet caught up with the demand. On top of the medical care, we dedicate ourselves to finding every one of these animals a loving forever home.

Dogs are on a leash and can't just step off a hot surface, or clearly express to us if they are in pain. It's OUR responsibility to protect them! Be careful of ALL surfaces in the summer - sidewalks, artificial turf, asphalt, gravel, sand, etc.

** Foster Found! ** (But we still have many more little families needing foster homes!)

🚨 Foster Home Still Needed! 🚨
Our “Milk Crate” mama and her 8 kittens — yes, the ones who survived being thrown from a truck on July 2 — are safe, healthy, and growing. But they need more space than even our biggest kennel can give.

We’re looking for a foster home for 4–6 weeks so they can grow strong enough for spay/neuter surgery and adoption. Mama is sweet, the kittens are adorable, and we provide everything you need. All they’re missing is a home. Can you help? 💛

We did it — 200 lives saved and 11 days ahead of our goal!

Luca is our 200th adopted kitty this summer, and her new family says he’s already helping heal their hearts after the loss of their beloved cat to cancer. 💕 Happy forever Luca and family!!

As her name implies, she is a happy dog who is super sweet! She loves to play and get pets! She seems to do well with both big and small dogs. Happy prefers to enjoy the outdoors. She is looking for a family to keep her safe and love her forever. She would love to have a nice yard where she can run and play and enjoy nature.
