⭐️DOG OF THE WEEK⭐️

Meet Nixie! This pretty girl just came to us from the pound as an unclaimed stray and we love her so much already! We think she is around a year old and is a Bully mix. She is pretty petite and weighs just right around 40 pounds. She has been great with other dogs so far. We tested her with cats and she seems scared of them, but we will retry next week when she is a little more settled in. So far she is super goofy and loves to play. She is current on vaccines, negative for heartworm and microchipped. She will be spayed soon and then can go into a forever home ❤️

⭐️CAT OF THE WEEK⭐️

Meet Ace! This handsome orange guy is around 2 years old. A family had taken him in when he showed up at their house, but unfortunately he was not fitting in with their other female cat. He was becoming a little territorial and his owners decided it would be best to find him a new home without other cats. They did say he was good with their dog though. He was a little shy the first couple of days, but he has opened up so much. He loves to be pet and the minute you open his kennel door he is rolling on his back. He is neutered, front declawed, current on vaccines, and microchipped.

⭐️DOG OF THE WEEK⭐️

Meet Phoebe! This beautiful girl is around 9 months to a year old and came to us from the pound as an unclaimed stray. She is a very active girl and would love a nice active family that will take her on walks and hikes! She has been good with other dogs. We don’t think she has ever been around any until now and she was sooo cute and curious when she first met Maggie and played with her. She is also friends with our boy Malcom. We think she would do best in a home with no kitties and we are unsure how she is with kids. She is starting to get very stressed here at the shelter and we would love to get her into a home soon. She will be spayed soon and ready to go home after that 😊

⭐️CAT OF THE WEEK⭐️

Meet Smokey! He is around 9 months old and came to us in February as just a little kitten after being left by our dog park in a small crate with his two siblings, his mom, and another adult cat. All of them have since been adopted, but Smokey has been patiently waiting for his turn. He is a little on the shy end, but has come such a long ways. He would do amazing in a home that has another friendly and social cat to show him around. He has always been in a colony with other cats here at the shelter and has done great. He would probably do best with no young kids since he is a little shy. He is current on vaccines, negative for FIV/FELV, and microchipped.
