So here is a good one to throw everyone off and to the haters/ non believers lol. They will love this because it does not show an " improvement" but it actually it tells us a story.
In the before picture we see a lot of issues. Tightness in the gluteals, tail being pulled or as people will say crooked. In the after picture, we can definitely see some changes, but most people will say not in a good way. I see a story at this point.
Now before I get yelled at, there is more going on in the top-line also , but we are just focusing on this area right now. The tightness on the left side of the horse, actually filled out a little. Once the muscle is released it can change the surface of the tissue. In the after we see the gulteal lifted up making the hip area ( tuber coxea) look bigger, ( its really not). I even got the hamstring muscle to soften on the left side . While on the other side it looks like I popped a balloon and it deflated. This is were I would explain to my client that the horse has weakness in the gluteal muscle some would say atrophy, either will work. By releasing the muscle in this area we allowed the skeletal structure in the tail to slightly move in more of an alignment. No its not completely straight , but close.
This is for the non belivers, which they may like this post because there are no improvments lol.
✅️ Does the head position in the before picture change anything from the hind ? No the horse is squared up and moving his head at the neck in the C1, C2, C3 area , will not shift his body in the hip area.
✅️Was this done in 1 hour? Yes it was
✅️Did I have to make others trips to help the horse out? Yes, also giving the owner some exercise to do.
✅️ What tools did I use for this? My hands only.
If you are skeptical of my work I encourage you to reach out and make an appointment to see my work for yourself and I promise you will not be skeptical anymore.
If you would like to learn more in depth on how to spot things and makes sense of the horse's body, then feel free to reach out and ask question about classes or anything eles.
Feel free to share :)
