Community Cats of Benzie County 501(c)(3) nonprofit helping free-roaming cats with TNR & our low-cost spay/neuter clinic. We also offer vaccines, food & shelter. benziecats.org/resources

The Community Cats of Benzie County volunteers are a dedicated group who are committed to helping the feral and free-roaming cats that live in Benzie County, Michigan. Our mission is to humanely Trap, Neuter and Return (TNR) feral cats. We work with caregivers of cat communities within the county. Each caregiver signs an agreement for help. The organization will help with TNR, medical assessments

of the cats, vaccines, deworming and food and shelters. In return the caregiver agrees to care for the cats on a daily basis and provide a minimal standard of care for them. We operate entirely on donations from individuals and we are a non profit Organization. Donations of food, litter and cat related supplies are always welcomed. In addition we value the donation of volunteer time. Please contact us by email if you would like more information on how you can help. You can also make a financial donation by check payable to Community Cats of Benzie County or via paypal on our website. Every dollar makes a difference.

Poppy and her kittens came to us shortly after she gave birth, and they’ve grown into the sweetest little family. Each one has their own unique personality, and now they’re ready to find forever homes—Poppy included! 💕🐱

2 Years Old • Sleek House Panther • Champion Napper • Cat Wheel Enthusiast

Oscar’s story is nothing short of inspiring 💛

He came to us after being hit by a car, suffering a broken back leg and a badly crushed pelvis that made even the basics—like walking and using the litter box—nearly impossible. For a while, he could only scoot around with his front legs. But Oscar’s spirit never gave up.

By spring, he was walking again. Today? He’s running, jumping, playing, and showing off on the cat wheel! 🐾💨 He still has a little sway to his back end, but it doesn’t slow him down one bit.

Oscar is affectionate, playful, and ready to find his forever family. He’ll happily keep you company during naps, cuddle sessions, or while showing off his sleek “mini-panther” vibes. 🖤

You might have noticed our tipped ears. We were part of a TNR project. In the end the care taker requested we not be returned. Thanks to an incredible foster family we've learned to love people, toys and food! In the last week we've been introduced to a rambunctious puppy. The jury is still out on how we feel about him. We are all pretty similar though you may see our sister has some fancy extra toes she likes to show off. If your interested in a kitten or 2 who decided the streets weren't for them please fill out an adoption application and come meet us at the adoption event Sept. 13. 10am-2pm at 425 N. Michigan Ave Beulah.
