We are a foster based rescue that helps animals in CT Pounds by providing emergency medical funding, training and adoption promotion, so that each animal has the best chance at finding a loving home.

Our little Candy girl enjoyed a holiday doggy day of beauty thanks to Christine and her staff Fetching Hound in Mystic.
Candy is a 7 year old Pom/Chi mix that would love to be with a retired adopter where she can sit on their lap and cuddle, as well as go on adventures in the car. 🚨Our current case is a sweet girl named Mercy at East Hartford Animal Control. Mercy is scheduled for surgery this Friday for an FHO procedure — after suffering a painful broken hip. CTAH will be covering the full cost of her surgery, and your generosity helps make this possible.

⭐️ When you donate to CTAH, 100% of your donation goes directly to the dogs and to keeping our rescue running.
Every dollar raised helps us give local CT shelter dogs the second chances they deserve — just like the dogs shown below, who would not have received the lifesaving surgeries they needed without you.
