If you have nice kids and a nice dog who would like a cat friend, Echo is the cat for you! She loves both.

We think she is a couple years old and although she does not want to be around another cat, she likes nice doggos (who are good with cats) and she enjoys the cuddles and attention of gentle kids. She also very much loves her outside time. So she will need a home where she has plenty of access to the yard and woodsy area where it would be safe for her to explore a bit. She's a smart girl and she loves her people and has no intention of wandering off. She just wants to be a 'cat' and do cat things. Which includes spending lots of time with her beloved family and making sure they know they are loved.

Honey Bear is real, not a teddy bear stuffy. But if you would like a fluffy cuddly snuggly little darling that you can play with and give sweet tummy rubs and listen to the best purrs, she is the purrfect teddy bear.

Honey Bear is a tortoiseshell fluff with the softest fur! She is maybe 8 months old and loves to play play play. She hasn't met a toy that she doesn't love. She's a little play maniac! And if you would play with her, she would love you too! She will definitely need a kitty friend in her new home who would like to run around with Honey Bear to look for fun.

She came from an outside home and with her curiosity and energy, she will definitely need a place to go outside and explore.

A lover. Master biscuit maker. Social butterfly. All around purrrfection. Macaroni is a sweet and gentle boy who's calm demeanor helps him fit in almost anywhere.

He loves to be held or a sit on a lap (or computer) and will demand plentiful pets and scratches for optimal biscuit making conditions. He is considerate baker and does his kneading without claws. Macaroni would enjoy a home with other kitty companions or dog friends and would be a suitable fit for a home with children as well.

Lil Bean! He's a bundle of love! Ever since he was a kitten, he's been a sweet lovable boy. It's just his nature.

He's about 10 months old now and even as a teenager, he is a darling. Happy to be friends with anyone who will be kind to him. He loves other kitties, in particular those who will romp and ramble with him. A playmate is important and he'll need one in his new home. He would love to roll and wrestle with another agreeable cat as well as chasing down imaginary creatures, like wind through the yard and blowing leaves.

He is ready to find his forever family to give his whole, sweet heart to. That could include a gentle dog and must have a feline friend as well as a yard to race across. Some bushes to climb around would be great too.

Nacho Libre and Chicken Strip 💜

Nacho Libre and Chicken Strip are two irresistibly sweet and spirited girls looking for their forever home! They were both originally from a hoarding situation where their mom showed up to a neighbors house to harbor her kittens. The family had the kitties for about 2 years until they were unfortunately no longer able to care for them. This lovable duo are ready to find a place they can settle down once and for all.

Chicken Strip is a true companion at heart. Expect this curious and affectionate kitty to follow you around the house, chattering away with little meows as if to say, "Hey, let's hang out!" She thrives on love and attention, and once she’s comfortable, she’ll be all over you with snuggles and purrs. While she can be a bit shy at first and may take some time to adjust to new surroundings, her charming and playful nature will shine through as she grows more confident in her new space.

Then there's Nacho, the curious and energetic adventurer! Nacho might not always be in your face, but rest assured, she’s never too far away. This playful ball of energy loves to explore her surroundings, and she’ll often pop by for a quick pet or two as you move about the house. Her inquisitive nature means she’s always looking for something new to discover, but she’s also a gentle soul who knows how to enjoy the quiet moments, too.
Both of these sweet kitties are looking for a home filled with patience, love, and a little bit of fun. Once they settle in, you’ll be rewarded with endless cuddles, affectionate meows, and plenty of purring. Glimmer is a darling little 6-7 month old girl. She is still fairly shy in open spaces but loves sweet pets when she is nestled in her safe places in the house. Or when it's food time. She loves her people who are quiet and understanding that she needs to know them and trust them.

She very much loves her foster sisters and brothers and is found snuggling with them frequently. She will need a good kitty friend in her new home. She tolerates the dogs in the house if they respect her space.

Mr Sociable Lover Boy! Uno!

Loves laps, being cuddled, watching movies on the couch and following you around the house to make sure he gets to be part of all the fun. He’s quite talkative too. You’ll never have to worry about not having someone to meow too with this boy.

UNO does great with most other cats, but what he really loves most of all in life is people. If he can always be with his hooman getting love and doted on he is the happiest boy ever!! Older children who will interact calmly with him would be fine to share his love and life. He does fine with a mellow dog friend.

He loves being out in the catio in his foster home so having a nice yard to spend time
with his family is a must on those glorious sunny days! He will supervise you at the BBQ to make sure the steaks and chicken are done to perfection. The family who is lucky enough to adopt UNO will be forever in love!

Sweet Little Chipmunk! With her black and white abstract masterpiece of a coat she is really starting to come into her own. And being just under a year old she has lots of time for adventures with her new furever family.

Upon arriving at rescue she was scared, but soon found that a human touch was nice. It was a safe place that offered security to play, purr, and cuddle when she wants too.
She is full of energy and with Spring right around the corner she is on the move from window to window.

Chipmunk has other favorites besides kind people. Toys (wand toys especially) are at the top of her list along with watching cat TV while lounging in her hammock. Playing
chase with her cat friends that involves a tumble or two is tons of fun too! She will need a cat friend in her new home.

She is good with kind mellow dogs, and older children should be fine in her new home. She will need a fun safe yard to spend time outside with her family soaking up the sun and pouncing on those pesky bugs when it’s nice outside. In Palmer. Please call 907-

Kate – The Calico Queen of Calm and Cuddles! 🩷

Looking for a cat with the poise of a princess and the heart of a best friend? Meet Kate, a stunning 3-year-old calico who’s as sweet as she is serene. Her name means “pure” in Greek, and once you meet her, you’ll understand why – she’s pure love, pure grace, and pure joy.

Kate has officially retired from kitten chaos. No curtain climbing or breakable-smashing here – just the occasional adorable zoomies (strictly ground level, thank you very much). Most of the time, she’s mellow and easygoing, the kind of companion who brings peace to your day just by being near.

She loves being held, lounging on the cat tree, and hanging out in the kitchen like your tiny furry sous-chef, waiting patiently for her favorite treat. Her meow is charming, her presence is comforting, and though her purr is soft as a whisper, it’s one of the most soothing sounds you’ll ever hear.

Kate is living with a dog and doing great! She’s still figuring out how she feels about other cats, so she’d be happiest as an only kitty or with a chill feline roommate who respects her space.

Kate does have early-stage glaucoma, but it’s easily managed with daily eyedrops and check-ins with the vet every 6 months. It doesn’t slow her down at all – she can see just fine and continues to live her best life.

One of her biggest dreams? To feel warm grass under her paws for the first time. Kate would love a safe outdoor space where she can bask in the sun and explore all the little wonders of the world.

Kate is ready to blossom in her forever home. If you’re looking for a gentle soul who’s full of love, a little sass, and a lot of heart, she’s your girl.

Mr Floofy Touch Me Not!

He's a charmer. He wants your love. He wants to spurt around and give you those looks like he wants you to pet him. But will he hold still so you can pet him?

No!

Bolt is a teaser. Sure, he's still a little bit uncertain about how this petting thing goes, but really at this point, he's just being his own adorable, super floofy big kitten self. Racing around like a nut with the other kitties, the feline gang playing and grooming each other and having a great time while you're there watching his cloud soft coat flit past. And of course you want to pet him. He looks, and is, SO soft. But nope, he's not ready. He's not sure of that. He might have given his heart to you and bonded with the family and be ready to live his whole life being happy with you. But the touching........he needs a little more time.

Bolt was born outside and his mom told him to be cautious with people. So he is. But in foster he has learned that people are nice and they have yummy food and and warm beds. His mom's cautions have not totally gone away but now he wants to be a kind family's little floofy boy and love them forever and know they love him forever and he is safe with them. But petting will take a minute. He hopes his real family will understand.

If you are a real cat person and understand that sometimes total trust can take time, and if you would like to adopt a sweetheart fluffball to be your cat's best friend and your amazingly wonderful boy (who will take a minute to get to the petting part of love) Bolt would be the purrfect boy.

He's a Nebelung looking guy with so much charm and joy to share with his new family.

Toes is wonderful, playful and curious and orange. She's a girl.

Somewhere along the line, Toes missed the memo that she’s a kitty. Petite for her age, she is totally a tiny human in her view. Loves to ride on your shoulders and wants to know what you are doing all the time. She wants to learn everything, check everything out, and if you're doing it, why can't she? She will need to be able to go outside with her people. And when she's all grown up, she will probably expect to be able to go outside on her own just like people do. She should never be allowed to drive; even though she has LOTS of toes, she is too short to reach the pedals.

She’s not so sure about other kitties… but is getting used to them, and hangs out in the same space without any issues. And sometimes tries to play a little with them- she’s learning! She may be a good playmate for another nice cat if they will just give her time. Nice Doggos are cool. 😎

She is about 7 months old in spite of being the size of the 5 month old and so ready to be some really wonderful family's baby girl. Forever.

In honor of Earth Day, we would love to get one of our cats who is close to his natural catness a home with a family who understands.

Tux has been through a lot in his short life. Trapped in a colony, he first went to a safe place with a lot of other cats (but not much human attention. He made a buddy there named Beau, and Tux and Beau moved into a foster home together.

After several days under the bed, Tux was out and about. He enjoys sitting in the cat tree looking out the window, he uses the litter box like a champ, and he is cautiously curious. He keeps his short formal-wear neat and tidy. His go-go boots are on point, his milk mustache is coffee-table-book-worthy, and he is quite a statement piece on your windowsill.

He's still skeptical of humans, and is not cuddly with people. But he and his buddy are very entertaining with their romping and wrestling and grooming each other. He's still got a lot of kitten in him even though he may be a year or 2 old. With a family who understands cats and can respect Tux's history and would give him time to adjust to all the crazy modern world, Tux could be their beloved best boy. There really is no bond like that with a cat who learned human kindness with just their person.

Tux will definitely need a cat friend and he loves loves loves other cats so he could be the best buddy for your lonely cat. He will also need a safe yard where he can go outside and experience the joys of what every cat loves.

Celebrate Earth Day with your cat Sustainably!

Here are some eco-friendly ideas for you and your cat!

🌱 UPCYLED CAT TOYS: Let’s be honest with ourselves. How long is your cat really going to enjoy that brand new plastic toy from Amazon? Chances are they are going to love the box more than the toy and the toys will eventually end up in the landfill. There are some great ways to upcyle our old junk to make great new entertainment for our cats! You can make forts out of boxes, stuff an old sock and attach to a string to make a strong toy, use the cardboard from toilet paper rolls to make treat puzzles, turn old T-shirts into cat hammocks or tents, the possibilities are endless!

🌱 CATNIP PLANT: Did you know that you can grow your own catnip? Ditch buying those plastic dried containers and go straight for the source! Cat nip plants are easy to grow and you can treat them just like any of your other house plants! They easily grow from seed or you can purchase a pre grown plant from your local pet store (just make sure you re-pot it because they are usually root bound and overwatered). You can cut off pieces for your cat to enjoy, or just let them go to town on the plant. It’s a great way to bring nature indoors when everything is all snowy and icy outside. BONUS: You can also grow cat grass for your cats to enjoy!

🌱 SPAY & NEUTER: It’s not just good for the animals, but great for the planet too! By preventing overpopulation, we reduce the number of animals who end up in the shelters and on the streets where they struggle to survive. Fewer homeless animals means less strain on local resources, reduced waste, and smaller environmental footprint from pet food, shelter operations, medical care, and the local economy-systems. It’s a simple way to create a more compassionate and sustainable world!

Rescued cats are provided needed health care and placed in foster homes until forever homes can be found. We have no paid staff. We operate solely with the help of kind volunteers and the support of our wonderful rescue community.
