While the snow is gorgeous, it does not make for safe driving conditions for us or you! We are rescheduling tomorrow Thursday, 1/23 out of the abundance of caution for the ice that is to come. We are reaching out to all those on our list now!

As 2024 is coming to a close, we want to reflect & celebrate a wonderful first year! Since our launch in December 2023, we have sterilized and vaccinated over 2,000 animals! We're proud of the service we've been able to bring to central GA communities and are looking forward to serving you & your fur baby in 2025!

Our team will be taking a much deserved break over the next 2 weeks. We will be closed for appointments from December 23rd-January 5th. The January schedule will be posted tomorrow to start online booking. Appointment requests and messages will be monitored around the holidays, but please be patient with us as we spend time with our families. We wish you all a Furry Christmas and Happy New Year!

On the last day of Tech Appreciation Week, we want to highlight our girls that work so hard to care for your fur babies! We are especially thankful for their expertise, dedication, and most of all fun that they bring to our busy days 💜

Meet Shelly-
Shelly has been an original staff member of Fix-A-Pet since its launch this past December. She has been in the veterinary field for close to 15 years with many years of experience in practice management. Shelly has worked closely with Dr. Vaughn to help create what Fix-A-Pet is today. Shelly's favorite aspects of this field are working with our cat patients (even the ferals!) and client education.

Meet Kayla-
Kayla joined the Fix-A-Pet team this past April. Kayla is a registered vet technician with a degree from Fort Valley State University. Kayla has experience in shelter medicine and loves working with dogs that need extra TLC. Kayla's favorite holiday is Halloween, and you may have noticed her festive scrubs if you've had an appointment with us this month.

We had so much fun at Bibb County Sheriff's Office Animal Services’ first annual Pumpkins & Paws fall festival! Our team helped with microchipping nearly 100 animals for the community 💜
