Happy 2-year Workaversary to our great teammate, Frankie! Frankie joined The Canine Connection after completing the ROP Certified Veterinary Assistant program. Although they confessed to being a “cat person,” they professed to also having a deep love of dogs. That love is seen in Frankie’s great attention to our beloved guests, ensuring they are happy and healthy while with us for daycare and boarding. Thank you for being part of The Canine Connection, Frankie!!! Woof! Arf! Arooo!! We’re grateful for you!

LUCY HAS BEEN FOUND!!! Lucy has been found!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE... STAY ON THE LOOKOUT FOR LUCY! We don’t know Lucy but we do know greyhounds and greyhound love and this Is breaking our hearts 💔🐾.

‼️ LOST GREYHOUND - LUCY - IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA (Durham/Chico area) ‼️ Sweet Lucy either got out or was stolen around 8:00 PM on Friday, July 11, 2025, while her adopter was visiting family. She was last seen on Oro Chico Highway between Midway and Butte Creek, a little bit west of Highway 99.
If you see her - or have seen her - please call Jessica at 530-230-8087. We’re hoping that Lucy will be found safe soon 🤗🤞❣️
UPDATE 7/17/25, 5:30 PM: From owner Jessica: “My dog Lucy the greyhound still hasn't been found. Here is the current search map. Red border is our property [2032 Oro Chico Highway, Durham, CA], the red arrow is where she was last seen and the direction she was headed. Red highlighted area has been searched thoroughly, yellow lightly searched, AKA by drive-by or drone. Please keep looking. $1000 reward. Call with any news 530-230-8087.”
UPDATE 7/16/2025, 7:15 PM - No sightings as of yet, but the Sacramento Sighthound Social Club has organized a walk on Saturday morning to help with searching if she has not been found by that time.
