Haflinger History Tuesday features an article that I wrote that was published in the September/October 2012 issue of Warmbloods Today magazine entitled "Haflinger Sporthorses, The Smaller Warmblood." The article included some history on the Haflinger breed, and featured some Haflingers up to that point who were excelling in sport disciplines throughout the United States-- including dressage and eventing-- and at Warmblood and sport horse inspections. These horses included: Aristo van de Rijsdijk, then owned by Wylde Haven Farm in Florida, Stellar TVR and Ricola DTA owned by us, A Gold Review HMF owned by Jennie L. Slattery , Maximotion WSF then owned by Wingspann Farm, Avanti of Cedarlane then owned by Rachel King, Alomar RVM then owned by Megan Huey , and many others. It is so interesting to look back and read some of the articles from 10 to 15 years ago, and it is exciting to see how many more Haflingers are excelling in sport disciplines throughout the country today!

Mare Monday features the 2025 World Show Champion mare ages 7-10 years old, Ayra (Stainz x Anjulia/Sommerduft/Skorpion) owned and bred by the Haflinger Pferdezucktverband. Ayra was also the class winner for seven-year-old mares. (The 7 to 10 year old group together consisted of around 67 mares!)

We are so excited that two foals have already been sold for 2027! We appreciate the support of our clients and friends, and look forward to the future!🤩 Regina's will be bred for her last Stellar foal, which is still available. (We plan on breeding her to Stellar's son, Stellar Artois New Horizons, aka Junior, in 2027.) Her filly this year is absolutely gorgeous, a lovely mover, smart, and full of sass and personality! Regina was awarded Premium and Champion mare out of eight Warmblood, Thoroughbred, Welsh and Haflinger mares at her Westfalen inspection in 2024. PM for more information.
