We’re thrilled to announce that Poppy & Casper are expecting beautiful Standard Poodles mid-August! 💕🐩

We had an ultrasound this week and got to see those tiny heartbeats fluttering — such a special moment! 🥹💗 We can’t wait to meet these little ones and watch them grow.

Stay tuned for updates as we count down to puppy day! 🐾✨

Important message for those who take their dogs to the beach.

Dog parents, please take a minute to read this. I’m sharing what happened to Victory in hopes it might help someone else.

A few days ago, we took Victory to the ocean. He absolutely LOVED IT. He had the best time running through the waves, diving into the water, chasing sea foam, and just living his best life.

All of a sudden, he started vomiting & shaking. So we took him straight home.

I honestly thought he had just swallowed too much water while playing and that it would pass. But then he started being lethargic, had labored breathing, and diarrhea.

He was diagnosed with SALTWATER POISONING, dehydration, and colitis. He had to stay all day for observation and care, get a cocktail of meds including a steroid and antibiotic shot, and now he’s on a special diet until he heals.

We had no idea something like this could happen just from a fun beach day. We didn’t know how DANGEROUS and POISONOUS saltwater can actually be for dogs!

So if you’re taking your dog to the ocean (or any other saltwater pool, etc), please be extra careful. Even a few drinks of saltwater can be TOXIC to your pup! Bring plenty of fresh water, take breaks in the shade, and do NOT let them drink any saltwater. Watch closely for symptoms and trust your gut if something seems off.

Victory is getting better, but it was a scary few days. I just wanted to share our experience in case it helps someone else avoid this. ❤️🐾
