If you knew me as a little girl…

I always had puppies, dogs, cats around me on our farm.

Mom would get so mad because Dad let me bring home any animal I wanted. I'd look through the free puppies ads and he'd take me. Even in front of the grocery stores back then, there would be free puppies. I'd always take one.

Now here I am, years later, still surrounded by sweet pets every day. I love it.

Caring for them isn’t just fun it’s healing for me, too.

I hope you like these recipes because they're fun for me to share.

Kale & Apple Ice Bones for Dogs

A refreshing and nutritious treat for warm days!

Ingredients:

1 cup fresh kale (chopped, stems removed)

½ cup unsweetened applesauce

¼ cup water

Optional:

¼ tsp dog-safe green superfood powder

Instructions:

Wash and chop kale; remove stems.

Blend kale with water until smooth.

In a bowl, mix kale blend with applesauce.

Add green powder if using.

Pour into silicone bone-shaped molds.

Freeze 4–6 hours or until solid.

Pop out & serve frozen!

🦴 Store extras in an airtight container in the freezer.

Frozen Blueberry Yogurt Drops

Cool, creamy, bite-sized treats!

Ingredients:
1 cup blueberries
½ cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup
½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions:
Mix yogurt with honey and vanilla (if using).
Fold in blueberries to coat.
Drop small dollops onto a parchment-lined tray.
Freeze 1–2 hours until solid.
Store in an airtight container in the freezer.

Benefits for dogs:
✔️ Blueberries are rich in antioxidants, great for brain and heart health
✔️ Greek yogurt adds calcium and probiotics for digestion
✔️ A refreshing way to stay cool in warm weather

Made with just a few wholesome ingredients.

Salmon & Rice Bowl for Senior Dogs

Gentle & nourishing for aging pups

Ingredients:

½ cup cooked salmon (boneless, skinless)

1 cup plain cooked white rice

¼ cup steamed, chopped spinach

1 tsp flaxseed oil

Optional: ¼ tsp canine probiotic powder

Instructions:

1. Let cooked rice cool.

2. Lightly steam spinach and chop.

3. Flake salmon and check for bones.

4. Mix rice, spinach, and salmon in a bowl.

5. Drizzle with flaxseed oil and stir.

6. Add probiotic powder before serving (if using).

Storage:
Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Do not freeze if using flaxseed oil.

Benefits:

Salmon: Omega-3s for joints & brain

Rice: Easy to digest

Spinach: Fiber & antioxidants

Flaxseed oil: Healthy coat & immunity

Approx. 320 kcal per bowl
