DON'T FORGET TO INCLUDE YOUR CRITTERS IN YOUR EMERGENCY PLANNING! During this Covid Crisis as well as at all times:

- Make sure you have at least 2 WEEKS WORTH of food, meds, treats and sanitation products (litter, wee-wee pads, etc)

- Have an easily findable EMERGENCY CONTACT list/sign in case emergency workers need to take you from your home (so your babies are cared for by friends or family and don't end up at a shelter).

- Make sure your emergency contacts have DAILY CARE instructions to follow, which also includes microchip numbers, vet info, and vaccine/medical records.

- MICROCHIP YOUR PETS!

- Ensure your pet has tags with the correct info.

BE PREPARED and keep your critters safe!

Many are wondering "CAN MY CAT OR DOG GET COVID-19?" Please rely on TRUSTED SOURCES when researching this.

Though there are still unknowns, the experts TIME spoke with agree that it is UNLIKELY that a pet can be infected with the virus or that a pet can transmit the virus to humans.

But if you are sick, please take extra precautions around your animals, because there is a small chance they could catch the virus from you. It is wise to keep your critters away from you if you are ill or to limit your interactions as much as possible.
