🐾💜 Meet Charby - the newest member of our Cool Cats (and dogs) Spay & Neuter Club! 💜🐾

Charby's family made the loving choice to have her spayed, and we're so thankful they did. Spaying not only helps Charby live a healthier life, it also prevents unwanted litters and keeps our whole community better for pets and their people.

We're grateful to Charby's owner for doing the right thing, and to our wonderful supporters who make it possible for Caring Hearts to continue this mission. Together, we're building a safer, healthier future for the animals we love. 😽✨

✨ Spay & Neuter Success Story ✨

This week we celebrate Max and Luna, two gorgeous black beauties who showed up as strays but found their forever families with wonderful humans who opened their hearts and homes to them. 💕

With the help of Caring Hearts supporters, Max and Luna received their spay/neuter surgeries along with rabies vaccinations, ensuring healthier lives for them and preventing more unwanted litters. 🐾

A huge thank you to their new family for stepping up to care for them, and to our amazing supporters who make it possible for us to keep these services affordable. Together, we're making a real difference for pets and the people who love them! ❤️

Peanut has been snipped and is ready to live his best life! 🐾✂️

This handsome boy was neutered on Monday, and we couldn't be happier for him...and maybe for his sister Mochi too, though Peanut might still climb on her just for fun.😆

A big thank you to Peanut's owner for making the responsible choice, and to you, our Caring Hearts supporters for helping us make moments like this possible. Together, we're giving pets healthier lives and building a more compassionate community for animals.

🐾 Meet Chico! 🐾

This pint-sized heartthrob had a big day last week. He was neutered! 💙 We're giving a huge shout-out to his owner for making the responsible choice and reaching out to us for help. With your support, we were able to make his neuter more affordable, which means another happy dog and one less set of paws contributing to the never-ending puppy parade.

Spaying and neutering doesn't just help the pets we love. It helps the whole community by preventing accidental litters, easing the strain on local shelters, and making sure more animals have the chance at loving homes.

To everyone who donates, volunteers, or shops at our thrift store, you're the reason we can keep doing this work. You're helping write more 'happily ever afters' for pets in our community. 🐾❤️

🐾 Nala's New Beginning 🐾

Beautiful Nala is getting spayed today, and we couldn't be more proud of how far she's come. When her incredible owner first rescued her, Nala was severely underweight and barely hanging on at just 35 pounds. 💔 But with love, patience, and lots of good food, she's now a strong, stunning 70 pound girl...and just look at that smile!

Spaying Nala means she'll never have unwanted litters, and that helps our entire community. Fewer accidental puppies means more resources for the ones already in need, and it gives Nala the healthy, happy life she deserves.

We're so thankful to her amazing owner for giving her a second chance, and to YOU, our donors, volunteers, and supporters for making moments like this possible. ❤️ Because of you, dogs like Nala don't just survive....they thrive.

‼️ URGENT PUPPY FOOD NEEDED ‼️

A kind-hearted couple recently did something truly heroic. They saved a litter of 4 month old pit bull puppies from being shot after their owner, overwhelmed and unprepared, decided he could no longer care for them. These puppies were born because their mama wasn't spayed, and when things spiraled out of control, their lives were on the line.

Already caring for multiple dogs of their own, this incredible couple stepped up to save these innocent lives, even though it meant stretching their limited budget even further. We are in awe of their compassion and determination to protect these babies.

We're teaming up with our friends at Ozark Kat & K-9 to make sure these pups get their wellness exams and puppy vaccines through one of our trusted partner vets. We'll also be ensuring they're spayed and neutered when they're ready, preventing this heartbreaking cycle from repeating.

🐾 While longer-term placement will hopefully come through rescue partners or transport opportunities, right now our biggest need is simple: FOOD. These pups are growing fast and eating a lot!

📍 If you're local to the Lake of the Ozarks area, please consider dropping off puppy kibble at the Caring Hearts Thrift Store (open Thursday - Saturday, 10am to 4pm). 📦If you're not nearby, you can still help! Just message us here on Facebook and we'll provide an address where food can be mailed or delivered from places like Chewy or Amazon.

🙏This is a beautiful example of community compassion, and now we need our village to rally again. Let's make sure these little ones have full bellies as they begin their journey toward safe, happy lives. 💚

🐾 No puppies for these lovely ladies 🐾

Three big, beautiful sisters (Brownie, Asta and Bleu) are off to be spayed! Their family is doing the responsible thing, and thanks to our amazing supporters and volunteers, we're able to help make it happen. 💖

These girls won't be adding any unexpected litters to the world, and that's a big win for them and for our community.

Spaying and neutering saves lives, reduces overpopulation, and helps pets live longer, healthier lives.

Here's to three fabulous females...spayed, slaying, and officially puppy-free!

🐾 Cooper's Stud Muffin Days Are Coming to a Close! 🐾

At just five pounds, Cooper may be tiny, but don't let his size fool you. This little chihuahua has already fathered 15 puppies with two different lady friends...and he was just getting started! 😅 Apparently the ladies find him completely irresistible, and honestly, who can blame them?

Thankfully, before he gets into any more romantic mischief, Cooper is getting neutered through one of our amazing partner vets. This is only possible due to the generosity of our donors, the dedication of our volunteers, and the heart of a responsible pet owner who is doing the right thing. 💙

Neutering helps prevent unplanned litters, reduces the risk of certain health issues, and can even improve behavior. Plus, it keeps little charmers like Cooper from starting their own puppy empires. 😉

🩷 Myia Angel's Story 🩷

Myia Angel is more than just a cat. She is her person's emotional anchor, a true service companion, and deeply, deeply loved.

When Maya suddenly became gravely ill after swallowing a hair tie that became tangled in her intestines, her life was on the line. Her person rushed her to a local vet, and despite having limited means, she emptied her pockets and paid everything she had toward Myia's emergency surgery. She was willing to give it all because Myia means everything to her.

But it still wasn't enough to cover the full cost of the life-saving care Myia needed. That's when hearts came together.

Thanks to our emergency medical outreach, and a generous grant from Armani's Angels, the critical care was covered. Together, we ensured that cost wouldn't be the reason Myia couldn't get the help she needed.

Myia is still in the hospital tonight, staying under close watch for a second night as she continues her recovery. She's not out of the woods just yet, but she is in the best possible hands, and receiving the kind of care every beloved animal deserves. Her person is deeply grateful that programs like this exist, and that a compassionate community was there to help when it mattered most.

This is what community looks like. This is what compassion can do.
