For Friday, January 10th

Due to the unpredictable weather that is coming in in the morning, please call our office before coming to ensure we are open! Unless roads are too dangerous for our staff to drive on, we plan on being there, although our hours may be different.

Some wonder why we recommend against a raw diet and this is one important reason

H5 bird flu (Avian Influenza) has been diagnosed or suspected in several cats that have died. In one case, the cat consumed raw food and, in others, recalled milk. Now, there is a voluntary recall of Northwest Naturals Feline Turkey Recipe Raw & Frozen Pet Food due to detection of H5 bird flu virus in product samples. According to the manufacturers website, the product was sold in through distributors in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MD, MI, MN, PA, RI and WA in the United States, and British Columbia in Canada.

Monday (23rd): NORMAL hours
Christmas Eve: CLOSED
Christmas Day: CLOSED
Thursday (26th): CLOSED
Friday (27th): OPEN NORMAL HOURS

The following week we will be open every day normal hours EXCEPT Wednesday, New Year’s Day, we will be CLOSED.

It's already November!
This means we have our Toys For Tots box.
We will be doing a raffle for anyone who brings in a toy (1 entry per toy per person).

There will be two drawings:

First place: a $50 gift card for the clinic to use as you please. Any product/any service.

Second place: Your choice of a cat or dog goodie bag!

**Please stop by, deadline for the raffle and toys will be December 16th***

It's getting close to Halloween!

Be sure to keep all candy away from your pets as some contain chocolate and others may contain xylitol (an artificial sugar).

Also, when entertaining trick-or-treaters, be sure to keep a close eye on the door so your pet doesn't get loose. If you are a frequent stop for visitors on Halloween, be sure your pet has a collar with all information listed so they can return safely if they were to get out, or just place them in a closed off area to avoid it completely. More importantly, if your pet has been known to be aggressive to strangers, be sure they are kept separate at all times.

Keep small pieces of costumes away from your pet so they do not get ingested.
